Matilda's POV:
Alpha Baron did not answer me. Instead, he looked impatient and pursed his lips tightly.
I looked at him. The lines of his jawbone showed a beautiful curve in the dim light. The slight curve showed how impatient the master was at the moment. He was a complicated person. Sometimes he made me think he was full of control and majesty. Sometimes, he acted like an impolite fool.
"I do not even have the right to ask questions now?"
He finally could not hold back anymore and almost roar at me, "Why do you have to question an Alpha? We will stop at the right time. All you have to do is quietly listen to my arrangements."
I had never felt this way before. My father always respected my opinion. Most of the time, he listened to me. He never saw me as a subordinate. He saw me as a friend and an assistant. He saw me as the Alpha of the future. He didn't see me like how Baron did. He saw me as a kid who was still sucking on a pacifier.
