Qi Ming Wei had never thought that he would run into Yang Ran at the hotel.
In the last few hours, he had asked his men to look through the city's surveillance camera to find that woman who had escaped. However, this woman only showed up on the surveillance camera twice before she could no longer be detected.
He had sent a few of his men to the motel where was last staying, and his men were doing all they can to find her again.
But, never would he expect to find her at the Orchid Hotel.
Qi Ming Wei came back to the hotel, wanting to return to his room and change his clothes. He was walking in the hotel's lobby when he thought that the woman's silhouette seemed a little familiar.
It took him a few seconds before Yang Ran's face came to his mind.
He was still unsure that he might have recognized the wrong person. However, once the woman refused to turn around, Qi Ming Wei became confident that the woman was trying to avoid him.
He shouted her name and the woman started to run.
Seeing how fast she ran out of the hotel startled him. But, Qi Ming Wei was not going to let this woman out of his sight again.
By now, he was confident that she knew a lot about the shooting at the motel. She was not as innocent and clueless as she appeared to be.
"Stop!"
Yang Ran could only roll her eyes when she heard the man's command, asking her to stop. It was hard enough for her to sneak out of the hospital and escape.
There was no way that she would stop and let this man catch her, alright?
Her eyes were scanning everything in front of her as she continued to run.
The most important thing was to get to a safer place. Now that she has her money and everything else she needed, she could soon leave this country and perhaps, never see this commander again.
Her brow furrowed, noticing that the handsome commander was getting close to her.
Although she admired his height, Yang Ran began to hate his long legs at this time.
A few crazy ideas appeared in her mind upon noticing the traffic in front of her.
The corner of her lips tilted up. Yang Ran made a turn and started running towards the moving vehicle.
The sound of the horn was deafening followed by the screeching of the tire. The driver managed to brake in time just before he was about to hit her. However, another car made an emergency brake and crashed into the driver's.
There was a loud crash behind her.
Angrily, the driver peeked his head out of the window and started to curse at her. Soon, the other drivers were doing the same.
But this was not the time for her to care about it.
Yang Ran turned her head slightly and saw that the handsome commander had stopped across the road. His eyes were watching her in disbelief.
Their gazes met momentarily and Yang Ran flashed him a smile.
Instead of seeing his infuriating look, Yang Ran was surprised when she caught the tilt on the corner of his lips.
Her body began to shiver.
Yang Ran could not understand what was going through in that man's mind. But she knew that this man was too dangerous.
This was why she could not stop running. Seeing that the distance between them had increased, Yang Ran continued to run towards and into the places where it would be hard for him to see her. Instead of finding a place to hide, Yang Ran continued to get farther.
She did not want to risk getting caught.
It was only when she was sure that the commander was no longer chasing after her that Yang Ran began to slow down and stop.
She found a spot at the park and sat down.
Her chest heaved as she gasped for air. It was not long ago that she was hospitalized. It seemed that her body had gotten a little weak.
As she sat down, Yang Ran began to make her plan to leave the country.
She did not expect that the commander would be very sharp to recognize her even in her disguise. It seemed that she had to be very careful when she made her plan.

Seeing the scene in front of him, Qi Ming Wei decided to stop chasing after that woman. He looked at the mess in front of him and rubbed the space between his brow.
Taking out his phone, Qi Ming Wei made a call to a few people to help him settle this mess. Then, he sent an order to his men to continue and look for that woman.
He could already imagine the trouble that he will have to face because of her.
It was not long ago that he had come to Capital City. This was not the time for him to get himself into trouble with the higher-up. Otherwise, his grandfather would kill him.
A thought came to his mind and Qi Ming Wei turned around and headed to the hotel.
Just because he could not catch Yang Ran, it doesn't mean that he was about to give up.
There must be a reason why that woman had appeared at the hotel.
Qi Ming Wei took out his phone again and dialed another number as he walked. The phone call was connected after a few seconds.
"Yu Han, help me with something."
The man chuckled. "Commander Qi, it was rare for you to call me. What can I do to help you."
"I'm looking for a fugitive," Qi Ming Wei said. "Somehow, I ran into that person in your hotel. Yu Han, I need to see all the surveillance footage from your hotel and find out what was that woman doing in your hotel."
There was a brief silence on Zhang Yu Han's part. "Alight. I will arrange for my assistant, Xiao Ye to meet you in the lobby. He will do everything he can to help you."
"Thank you."
"This woman..." Zhang Yu Han hesitated. "Is she a dangerous person?
A fugitive was seen in his hotel. Of course, Zhang Yu Han could not stop worrying that it would have impacted his business somehow.
"No. But that woman had some important information," Qi Ming Wei said. "Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to your hotel."
