It was heavily raining outside. The sky was so dark that it was difficult to tell morning was here without looking at the clock. And the loud thunder that kept on roaring in the sky was not helping Cynthia's dark mood one bit.
She had a very tough night.
Gloria and Cynthia talked for hours; they postponed the rest of their conversation when Robert sent a maid up to ask Gloria to go back with him. Cynthia saw the hesitation in Gloria's eyes, and she knew that her aunt did not wish to leave her alone on a day like this. But apparently, the day was not easy on Robert either, otherwise, he wouldn't have interrupted the nostalgic moments the women were having like that.
Gloria ended up leaving the mansion in the AM hours. And by the time Cynthia went back to her room, George was nowhere to be seen.
