Cynthia was having a tough week. She knew herself all too well. While she was putting up with everything and everyone right now, her patience quota was close to being full. She was seriously thinking about moving to Paris at this point, maybe just for a couple of months to focus on her baby.
The thought was in itself, disturbing. She was not a coward who ran away from problems. And if she indeed ended up taking her little revenge out of the country, it might backfire on her during the custody battle.
After the final bomb that George dropped, Dimitri was too quiet. And the amount of time that Cynthia gave Dimitri to understand exactly what had happened was coming to an end.
'I should be the one in shock here, not him,' Cynthia thought, but for some reason. She didn't mind that her path and Dimitri's path had crossed at an earlier point in life.
She didn't think that it was such a big deal.
