"…Sorry to burden you with all of the details standing up like that, I should've at least got you some coffee,"
Gloria held a hand up, "… Give me a minute to process,"
While Gloria thought long and hard about the details George just shared with her about his marriage to Cynthia being for show purposes only -in Cynthia's perspective- George had something else on his mind.
He grumbled when he thought about repeating that same conversation with his father all over again.
It was a spur of a moment kind of a thing that he had decided to let Gloria in on all the ugly details, and now, his father was the only Robinson left in the dark when it came to the contract marriage.
George glanced back and looked at his father who sat in a nearby coffee shop. Robert had a calm but annoyed look on his face all the same. His eyes threatened his son.
