"Hmm... How long is this going to take?" I said to myself as I waited for the group of employees in front of me to finish since they had occupied the coffee machine.
"Waiting for your turn?" a voice startled me. I turned around and saw a handsome young man with spectacles smiling at me.
"Oh, Hello" I greeted the boy as he did the same.
"Yes, I am, but looks like I have to wait for an hour or so?" I said as the boy giggled, "Don't worry, they will be done soon" he said.
"How do you know?" I questioned.
"It's their daily routine and I'm used to it. They have a fixed time and I have noted it. So when I know they are about to be done? I quickly run here to get my coffee doze" he said proudly as I giggled.
"I'm Aurora Gray from the PR department" I introduced myself.
"Myself, Kian Martin, a mechanical engineer, currently working as an intern" Kian also introduced himself as we shook each other's hands.
"Today's your first day?" he asked as I nodded. "Even though I'm here before you, you are still my senior since I'm just an intern but don't you worry! I'm planning on being a full-time employee" Kian exclaimed.
"You're planning?" I laughed.
"Yeah! Why not? I mean how can they not appoint such a talented, hard-working, and golden employee like me" Kian bragged as I laughed, "You're funny"
"Am I?" Kian smiled.
"Oh? They are gone? I didn't notice" I said and went towards the coffee machine and started to make coffee. "So? How's here?" I asked.
"Here? It's nice...except for the seniors. They make you work a lot" Kian complained.
"It's like that everywhere. Those who have an upper hand always take advantage" I said as Kian hummed. "Oh? And the CEO!" he suddenly spoke.
"CEO? What about him?" I asked as I took out four disposable cups. "He is really scary. You should stay away from him" Kian warned.
"Why so? Is he that cruel?" I questioned as I poured coffee into the cup.
"No, it's not that~ He isn't cruel. He hasn't treated anyone badly but..." Kian spoke. "But what?" I asked.
"He has a really scary aura. Everyone is scared of facing him. They do rock-paper-scissors when it comes to who will submit files to Boss. And the one who submits the files looks like a ghost when he comes out of his office" Kian explained whereas I was shaken.
"Is he that scary looking?" I asked. "Oh no. He is rather handsome. Or you may say, devilishly handsome. I sometimes feel inferior compared to him in looks" Kian pouted.
"Don't say that~ You are rather quite handsome yourself" I said as I placed lids over the cups. "Really? You think so?" Kian asked.
"Mhm...But! May I ask? Are you flirting with me since earlier?" I squinted my eyes. "Oh no. How can I?" He said.
"You better not. There's no chance here" I said.
"And why so?" he asked, curiously.
"Because I'm not interested in younger guys" I flicked his head slightly as he pouted.
"Now, the main issue is how am I supposed to carry these" I expressed my worry. "I can help?" Kian offered. "What about your work? And your coffee?" I asked.
"Oh, Don't worry~ I can make it after coming back plus! It's almost lunchtime!" Kian exclaimed. I couldn't reject his offer so I agreed to take his help.

"I told you I'm not hungry!" Asher protested as he tried to pull back Logan who was dragging him, without listening to any of his whining.
"I received a strict order from the Chairman to make you eat lunch right in front of my eyes since you skipped breakfast," Secretary Logan said, dragging him into the elevator.
"Why do you take his orders so seriously and not mine?!" Asher complained. "Because he is the Chairman and you are the CEO" replied Logan.
"This is clear discrimination," Asher said. "It is what it seems," Logan said straightforwardly. "That was emotional damage, you know?!" Asher exclaimed.
"..." Logan just remained silent, ignoring him. Soon the elevator door opened as Logan and Asher stepped out of it, startling a few employees.
While straight-ahead walked Aurora and Kian, coming towards the elevator for which they had to cross Asher.
___
I was peacefully walking, chatting with Kian when soon my gaze went towards Secretary Logan who was indulged in a talk with the coffee guy I met yesterday. My eyes widened upon witnessing them, walking towards me.
'What's he doing here?!'
I quickly hid behind the wall, startling Kian.
"What? What ha-" Kian got cut off by tense me who was now sitting on the floor, "Stand in front of me!!" I whisper-yelled.
"What?" Kian got confused.
"Stand in front of me!! Just stand in front of me!!" I again whispered.
"Why would I- Woah~" I pulled Kian by his leg as he stumbled and leaned on the wall.
"I said! Stand in front of me!!!" I whispered.
"O-Okay. Okay, I will" Kian stood straight and froze to his spot when he saw Asher and Secretary Logan, standing in front of him with a weird expression.
"Ah? Good afternoon! Sir!!" He greeted.
'You Idiot!!!!!' I cursed in my mind.
Asher just nodded at him. He looked at Kian for a second before setting off to the cafeteria and Kian let out a sigh of relief.
I peeked from behind and also heaved a sigh of relief when I saw that guy out of sight. I stood up and found Kian with a confused and a little angry expression. I smiled awkwardly
"Hehe. I'm sorry. It's just…*sigh* Leave it. I'm sorry" I apologized.
"It's okay but please do give me a heads up before doing anything like such in the future" he sighed as I smiled and nodded.
"By the way? How can he be here?" I questioned myself which was heard by Kian.
"He is the CEO. Of course, he can be here," Kian said as my world stopped for a second upon hearing Kian's sentence that kept repeating in my head.
"He is the what?" I asked as I looked towards Kian while smiling.
"The CEO... The one I was talking about earlier?" Kian replied as both of us stepped into the elevator.
"C...E...O..."
I'm dead.
