Julian dropped me at the entrance of my trailer park, he was silent all through the drive and it worried me for some unknown reason, I didn't want to see him anxious but there was something about his mood that was off, I refused to get down from the car and he didn't even try to chase me out, we just sat there in silence until I spoke up.
"Are you worried about something? You have been acting anxious ever since" I said to him politely, he gaped at me in surprise, he had not been expecting me to be observing him but I was.
"Is it that obvious? I really need some rest" he was trying to divert the topic but I already knew the reason behind his anxiety.
"It has to do with the meeting right? The one with the Syndicate" I saw his face break into shock, he looked left and right frantically.
