I woke up with the expectation that Raymond would soon appear at my door to take me to the Mateo house but I was wrong, I got a call as early as six in the morning from Julian telling me that I should be ready before he got to my trailer park, I rushed though breakfast and I helped my sister to get ready for school, I did a little make up because I wasn't a fan of looking extra on a Monday morning, my father was still sleeping and that was excusable since he had no job, I left some money for him on the table and I gave some to my sister as her weekly allowance.
"You are giving me this much?" she said in awe, I laughed at her expression.
"I am planning on increasing it soon, you are already old enough to own a phone" I said to her and her eyes sparkled like a glistening lake, she was near tears but I cheered her up instantly.
