UNKNOWN POV
After Julian had left the police station, he went back to his house to rest his heavy head that was already stressed out by his P.A, now he had other things to attend to before the meeting of The Syndicate which was not far off, his mother knew better than to ask him if there was anything wrong with him so she just let him be and she focused on other things to keep her mind busy.
All what was on Julian's head was the bullet shells and his father's initials that he had seen on it, he was amazed by the fact that a hitman would actually go through the stress of printing his victims names on his bullet shells, he still hadn't warped his mind around it properly.
"What kind of a psychotic killer is that?" Julian asked himself as he sipped from the whiskey that was on his bedside stool, he wanted to calm his head down so that he could plan his next move properly but whenever he tried to think of how to start his next move, his head would remain blocked out as if he wasn't smart enough to find a way to start.
Julian woke up the next day with a slight headache, he had mistakenly over drank from the whiskey and now he had an hangover, he rubbed his head when he stood up and he was still feeling a bit dizzy from the last night but he instantly felt better after washing his face and also washing his system with strong coffee.
Julian could let the maids do everything for him but he chose to do some things by himself and making coffee was one of the activities that he thoroughly enjoyed, he met his mother in the kitchen too and he greeted her with a small smile.
"Good morning, mother" Catalina looked at her son with puzzled eyes, she was surprised to see him in a good mood.
"Good morning, Julian. How are you feeling?" she obviously knew that he hadn't been himself the night before so she wanted to be sure.
"I am feeling better than yesterday, how are you?" Julian returned the question as he poured himself a cup from the coffee jug.
"I was worried before but now that you have clarified everything, I am feeling better too" Julian did not want to tell his mother that he was at the police station the day before but little did he know that she had known ever since.
"The detective told me that you and Felix went to the police station yesterday" Catalina eyed her son suspiciously, Julian should have expected the old man to snitch.
"I just went there to just check on the case, to see how much progress they have made" Julian spoke as if it wasn't that important but his mother new better.
"That's not what the detective told me" she said coyly, Julian was instantly triggered by her words.
"What did he tell you?"
"He told me that you were about to take the law into your own hands" Julian went cold as he heard what his mother said, he sipped from his cup calmly and he glared at her dead in the eye.
"I am not willing to sit back and let the police chase this case for years and then they will come up with a suspect that still wouldn't be sentenced to death" Julian struck fear into his mother's heart, the poor woman was scared to the bones.
"Then what are you planning to do? If you kill anybody then you will be the one receiving the death sentence because that's what everybody will say when they find out that you carried out such an act of revenge" his mother warned him severely but he paid no heed to her, revenge was etched deep in his heart and there was no way that he would let go of his resolve.
"Let the law do what it wants with me, I don't care as long as I do what I want with my father's killer"
Julian was unstable like raging waters, his mother started to worry because it was clear that her son had made up his mind about the revenge thing.
"Please, think about your poor mother when you are planning on doing all of this… I lost your father and I will not lose you as well" she said with tears in her eyes, Julian was not up for anything emotional drama that morning so he just walked out on her before she would blackmail him with her tears.
He went outside into the courtyard and he roamed the green fields with his cup of coffee in his hand, Julian greeted the men working on the field with a cold stare, he was in his reflective mode and he never smiled when it began. Julian was startled by his phone ringing in his pocket.
"Hello?" the call was from a private number but he answered it anyways.
"Your father's killer will be at the pier this afternoon, I don't know what he might be wearing or where he might pop out from so you have to keep your eyes open" the person's voice was jumbled so he couldn't recognize it.
"Who is this?" Julian asked urgently, he almost spilled his coffee with the way he jolted to his feet.
"Just take it as an anonymous tip" with that last word the call ended and Julian's phone crashed right afterwards.
"It was an encrypted call, but from who" Julian walked back to his room swiftly and he ignored his mother who was talking to a man in the living room, the man had looked familiar but Julian was bursting with a new kind of energy.
Julian got ready under minutes and before he left he sent a text to his P.A saying that she should meet him at the pier in forty minutes, Julian was about ton leave the house but his mother halted him.
"You can't go anywhere without at least greeting our guest, who turns out to be the father of your P.A" Julian looked at the father of Diana with an uninterested look.
"Good morning, sir" Julian said to the man before he dashed off without another word, his mother stared after him in surprise because she had not yet understand what had possessed her son or why he was acting like that, Julian was planning on apologizing to his mother when he gets back… that was if he got back from his deadly mission.
