Diana tried to understand the reason behind the call to the pier, she knew that she was supposed to be diligent and answer any call from her boss but she couldn't help but feel as if there was something more to the call than she knew about.
Julian's behavior had always puzzled her and she figured that it was best to keep away from his way whenever they were at work because she was aware of his sudden temper, even though he had not scolded her in a while she was still wary of the cold and temperamental attitude of her boss. Diana arrived at the pier in good time and she began to look for the car that Raymond usually drove her boss in but she couldn't find it so she decided to call the number that her boss had used in calling her.
"I am at the pier, where are you? Sir" Diana added the 'sir' quickly before she received any backlash from her boss.
"Good, I am almost at the pier now. Just wait for me in the parking lot" Julian ended the call and he put his phone back into his pocket, he was not driving towards the pier but he was driving to a ammunition/gun shop to buy a weapon that he was sure that he was going to use.
"Good day to you sir, how may I help you?" the shop attendant asked Julian as he entered the gun shop, Julian looked at the collection of sub-machine guns, assault rifles, pistols, batons and even tasers with a collective eye, his choice wasn't on display.
"Do you have a Magnum Revolver?" he asked the shop attendant with a stern face, the attendant nodded his head excitedly.
"Yes, we do. What type do you want? Long barrel or the snub nose?".
"Long barrel" Julian answered curtly, he already knew the type he was looking for.
"Good choice" the attendant went inside and came outside with a medium sized box, Julian opened the box to see a long barrel silver revolver with eight bullets lined up next to it.
"The bullets are heavy and the long barrel means that it can shoot further than normal pistols" the attendant told Julian about the features of the gun as he counted the money for the gun, he bought more bullets and he put them in a bullet case that came with the gun and he returned to his vehicle to continue his drive to the pier.
Diana was already getting tired of waiting and because of her dress she received more attention than usual from other men, some of them offered to pay for her ticket just so they could enter with her or to take her number but she refused, she sat on a bench that was in the parking lot and she began to play games on her phone, a man approached her again and she rolled her eyes because she had already gotten used to the routine already.
"Hello there" the man was obviously older than her but he was dressed in clothes that a young man would have worn so she assumed that he was a sugar daddy.
"Hi" she said without any interest, she looked at him once before going back to the game that she was playing, the man was not dissuaded by her cold attitude but instead he increased the heat.
"I just came down from my Rolls Royce and I couldn't help but notice that you are sitting here all alone, would you care for some company?" the man was about to sit close to her but she pushed her purse to the open space next to her on the bench.
"I am sitting alone because I choose to be alone, I don't care for some company and most especially not yours" Diana snapped at the man, she was slowly losing her patience and the man was refusing to budge.
"Don't be so unkind, how about I get your number at least? Maybe we can talk some other time when you are in a better mood" Diana ignored the man and his request, she acted as if he was not there and suddenly the man did something strange, he snatched her phone from her hand and he held it out of her reach.
"HEY! Give me back my phone" Diana tried to take her phone back from the man but he held it out of her reach and no matter how many times she tried, she couldn't take it from him.
"Now look at what you've made me do, all I just wanted was your number but now you have driven me to such ugly means" the man said
sympathetically as if he was not enjoying watching her ample breasts bounce in front of him as she jumped again and again.
"Give it back!" Diana looked around her and she saw that there was nobody to help her, they were alone in the parking lot and the man could molest her if he wanted to, her legs was getting tired and she was aware of the tactics of the perverted man because his eyes were fixated on her bosom lustfully.
"Didn't your mother tell you it was wrong to take things from pretty women?" Julian's voice was cold as steel and his gray eyes held no emotion, the man turned around and he saw Julian scowling at him with furrowed brows.
"Who are you supposed to be?" the man asked Julian and with a quick action, Julian snatched the phone back from the man and Diana ran to hide behind her boss.
"I am the person that she was waiting for, your services are no longer needed so SCRAM!!" the man moved back instinctively out of fear, Julian had a murderous look in his eye that could have sent fear into the bravest, boldest of all men.
"I am not going to forget this, BOY! As for you…" the man pointed at Diana who was still hiding behind Julian in fear.
"I am going to get you one way or another" the man went his way and Diana recovered from her shock, she rearranged her dress and she proceeded to question her boss about his perpetuality.
"What took you so long?" she questioned him as he gave her phone back.
"I had to do something important to do along the way" Julian said truthfully, he turned around and walked towards the gate of the pier.
"Of course, he will never apologize" she whispered under her breath, Julian turned around sharply almost as if he had heard her.
"Are you coming or not?" Diana didn't dare to say no.
