Chapter 12 - Mr. Zhang, Mark My Words! You're Going To Regret All Of This!

Zhang Wei had to be the most grandiloquent and selfish man-whore anyone had ever seen and encountered.

It so happens that he was just as extravagant as his brother. Worse even. His advantage was that the money flowing in from the business was so much that he couldn't have gone broke like Zhang Hien no matter how much he spent.

That was he thought...

If Mr. Zhang Wang was soft spoken, a man full of integrity and very determined, Zhang Wei was the complete opposite.

He was rude to his employees and sometimes very violent. He hit them. If you were a women, he'd hit you too!

All the money gotten from the business, he lavished them on his mother, on material things and women, never bothering to pay his workers.

Just last month, he'd been in a short relationship with Huong Lu, a world wide sensational superstar, and had gifted her a private airplane on her birthday!!!

It was not long enough before they broke up but yet he continues spending his money lavishly. It got to the crucial point where he stopped paying his employees.

What finally let the bombshell drop was when more students began filing applications into the school and the training facilities weren't enough to teach them all.

The school's treasurer had confidently sent an employee on an errand to get more materials. However, he had returned with some bad news,

The money transaction was declined.

Declined???

The had over 80 million in the school account. He thought.

How wrong was he...

The man went straight to the bank and demanded for the account balance details and almost coughed out blood at the sight.

$1234.00

A measly one thousand dollars was left out of millions.

The only person asides him who could have tampered with the money was Mr. Harris.

He and all the other teachers and non-teaching-staffs had raged his office to complain.

"...Your father used sweat and blood to raise this establishment to implicate standards. He worked day and night and ensured nothing went wrong. He treated us all like family. I myself have been working in this industry for 11 years and I've never experienced something like this!"

Another one spoke up, eyes berating him with anger and disappointment.

"...Mr. Zhang what have you done with the school money?! The students are complaining of insufficient materials to use during practicals!"

Seated on a leather swivel chair with his legs crossed over on the table, he motioned the woman he was having a drink with In his office to leave and she did so, giggling stupidly while swishing her fake hair over her shoulders.

"How much did u say was left in the school's account?" He coolly asked, nonchalance settling in his eyes as he sipped his drink.

"80 million."

"Mr. Gung. Who is in full ownership of this school, now?"

The man looked at his colleagues in confusion before stammering an answer.

"You, B... Boss."

"And since the school's account is under this school's funding, I have rights over it as well."

Everyone's jaw dropped at his shameless reply. It was bad enough that most of them haven't received their pay for several months, he suddenly spent all the money in the school's account like nothing!

"What did you do with the money?!" The oldest among them yelled in anger, slapping his hands on his desk.

"Mr. Cheung it's really none of your business what I do with MY money..."

"Boss, If the students aren't comfortable with learning environment, they will leave and we will loose alot..."

Another person spoke up.

"There's an establishment that just opened up here some months ago and it's reigning No. 233 in the world...I hear some students are already leaving our school to file applications there."

Just as a vein was slowly ticking at the side of Zhang Wei's forehead, another person yelled while coming forward to slap some files on his desk.

"They are also hiring at the moment and I'm going to see what they're going to offer. I'm sure it's better than the cimmerian treatment we're receiving here!"

His surprise suddenly turned to one of anger. He got up and slapped his hands on his desk, glaring at them all.

"So this is what it's been all about. Now the business is not doing as well as before, you're abandoning it to work somewhere else. My father will turn in his grave when this gets to him!"

"We have no choice, Boy! My rent is due Monday and I don't have enough funds to cover it up. I haven't been paid in months and now we don't have enough materials to teach our students. We might as well say we have nothing doing here!" With that, the man slapped his own files down on the table and gave Zhang Wei a stern gaze.

"You're going to regret this," Zhang Wei suddenly said and stood straight, pointing at everyone in the room. "All of you! You're all going to regret this! Infact let me save you the trouble. You're all fired!!! Yes. You. You. You. All of you. And don't come crawling back when the other establishment doesn't pay as well as mine does!!!"

In a few seconds, more than half the workers in the office left hurriedly after slapping down their files on his desk.

"Mr. Zhang mark my words! you're going to regret all of this!" One yelled as he left the door and Zhang Wei only snorted.

Some, who didn't want to take the risk of going out there and not finding a job, reluctantly begged the Boss to let them remain in the school.

A month later, just like his ex-workers predicted, students began leaving the school like fire flies leaving a glass jar when it's been opened.

Employees kept quitting on a daily basis, and since most teachers were working at the new establishment, Endeavours Prime College, no one wanted to work for him because rumours of his establishment slowly falling to the ground spread like wild fire.

It was a surprise that the Jiangs didn't know of this. Mrs. Zhang Huan who was just as extravagant as he was and had sold part of her property to get some money, advised him to do a business collaboration with Jiang Tao who was the only person willing to take such a risk with him since most people knew of his extravagant and nonchalant attributes and didn't want to partner with him.

Jiang Tao was the CEO of Deco Enterprise. The company was popular for buying lands, buildings and islands at cheap rates and selling them at a higher rates in other high-currency rate countries after making the landscape enticing and inviting to buy.

The land/island which looked lifeless at first would be to be brought back to life by professional landscape exterior decorators from the Deco enterprise who made the island look like a paradise. They would plant fresh flowers around it and fruity trees. The poisonous animals and dead trees would removed and other necessities would be induced to ensure the place would be sold at a considerably amount.

If he could collaborate with him and buy the Xiao Vikings Island he was planning to buy abroad, he was sure it would be resold for a huge price, and he would get his share of the profit and aid his falling establishment before it finally crumbled to the floor.
