"What the fuck!" I exclaim while turning around to gaze at the lady.
She's so young that I don't know how to address her.
Since I'm the one at fault, I decided that I should just let the slap slide by.
The lady continues to drag my hair, and I decided not to flinch because I want her to satisfy herself with whatever she is doing.
Nowadays, I have heard and seen that those who look young in appearance have gone far in their age.
This lady that's currently dragging my hair looks like an individual who's probably in her early twenties.
She's fair with brown long hair like that of mine, and currently, the lady is in a long jeans skirt that reaches her feet.
She's also on a white long sleeve that hugs her small perfect body properly.
"That's it!" I yelled, pulling away my hair from her grips.
I seize her hand firmly, and then I gaze deeply at her eyes fiercely. "You better stop that okay, because if you continue to drag my hair then I won't mind beating the hell out of you." I declare with bloodshot eyes.
I'm currently going through a lot.
I'm processing a lot of things in my head which are giving me a mighty headache, and this lady who I know nothing about is currently adding to my headache.
"What did you just say?" She asked, staring back at me with a fierce gaze.
I ignore the lady and gaze at the door of the hospital room. "I can't believe that you don't have manners. And why on earth did my brother employ you as a driver?" She asked while staring at me from head to toe.
She's currently giving me that disgusted look.
Since she called herself the brother of Ace! I don't think I'll deal with her for now. Well! If she ends up starting a fight with me, then I'm going to beat her as if she's a baby.
It took another good one hour until the doctors finally walked out of the hospital room.
I didn't bother to ask about Ace's health because his family members were talking.
"When will I be able to go and see him?" I ask, turning around to gaze at the doctor.
My outburst made him stop talking, and he smiled widely at me. "Ace has been asking about you, so you can go in and see him." The doctor declares.
The doctor's smile is currently freaking me out and likewise is his statement.
I can already picture the thing that's going to happen if I have to enter the hospital room.
Ace would tell me that I should pay up for the hospital bill unless he's going to deduct it from my monthly salary.
"Hmm! Do you perhaps know the reason why he has been asking for me?" I ask while forcing a smile across my lip.
"Nope! But he had said that he wanted to see you alone."
The doctor's statement continues to scare me, and I think I'm going to pass out if I eventually find out the entire money that he had planned to deduct from my salary.
But seriously! I'm not the one at fault, so there's no need for me to be scared.
I exhaled, and with full courage, I made my way inside the hospital room.
Abe and his sister were both staring at me in annoyance.
If the eyes of an individual were able to set someone on fire, then Abe's sister would have set me on fire for a long time now.
"Hey!" I utter while waving to Ace who's currently lying down on the hospital bed.
His leg is stretched out on the bed, so the first thing I started observing was his legs.
Just as I had thought from the very first day that I saw him. Ace has a well-built long leg.
"Can you quit staring! You are making me uncomfortable." Ace said, which made me snap back to my senses.
"You have beautiful long legs." I complimented while smiling sincerely.
"I'm aware of that!" He shrugged.
Gush! What a proud freak.
"Why did you ask for me?" I ask.
Ace exhales. "Can you kindly take your seat.? Ace declares while staring at the couch which is opposite his hospital bed.
I sat down on the couch, before slightly arching my brows in a questioning manner. "I really don't have any money to pay for the hospital bills okay. And seriously! This hospital still owes me a whole fifty dollar box, so the only thing I can use in supporting you is just that fifty dollars which I'm still yet to collect back from the nurse who duped me." I utter, which was even before Ace asked me about anything.
He chuckled. "Thanks for riding me to the hospital on time." Ace declares while smiling.
His smile immediately made my tense heart, to calm down.
Ace is doing something to my body without even realizing it. His eyes which have a shade of different colors gaze deeply at me.
It seems as if his eyes plan on cleaning my soul, not to mention the dimples on his cheeks. They are so damn attractive that I just can't stare away.
"Natasha!" Ace called out my name, which made me snap back to reality.
I have been lost in my thoughts for a while, just because I'm admiring his beauty.
"If you don't mind me asking, I would appreciate it if you tell me the reason why you had just collapsed all of a sudden!" I mumbled while hoping that he would explain things to me.
"I have me...."
"Ace! I need a favor from you."
The lady who had been dragging my hair a while ago suddenly declared, as she entered the hospital room without seeking permission, which made Ace stop talking.
"What type of favor?" Ace asks.
"I need you to fire this bitch from being your driver. She had threatened me, and she had also picked a fight with me." She said, without explaining to her brother what she had done that warranted a threat from me.
Ace didn't bother to ask if what she had said was true.
He declared a statement, which made me instantly become immobile "Natasha! You are fired from being my driver." Ace said coldly.
No! This is not happening.
