"You are weird," Ace exclaimed as he rolled his wheelchair towards the door.
"Yeah! I have heard that from a lot of individuals." I wink, before following behind him.
"Why are you searching for a job?" Ace asked as he continued to make his way towards the garage.
"Because I am not the CEO of my company." I declare.
Ace shifts his gaze towards me. "You don't have company." Ace stated, which made me nod my head.
Truly I don't have a company, but that doesn't mean that I don't have a dream company. "Thanks for reminding me of my cruel reality," I said, smiling wide.
"You need not mention." Ace said sarcastically.
We both made our way towards the garage, and finally Ace stopped rolling his wheelchair, which was immediately we got to the place where I had parked the previous car. "You have to drive me to work." Ace declares.
"Make me!" I scuffed because there's no way that I'm going to drive him to his workplace without getting any payment from him.
"I'm looking for a secretary at my company, so would you mind applying for the job interview?" Ace asked.
His kindness scares the hell out of me. "You are kind?" I declare, not saying the fact, but asking a question.
"Is that a bad thing?" He asked as he continued to smile wide.
"Not really! But your kindness is giving me goosebumps, and I smell something fishy." I sincerely mumble.
"Fishy? Why is that?" He inquired.
I scowl my brows. "Ever since I met you, mention the very first time that you genuinely care for me?" I interrogate.
"And who said that I am genuinely caring for you?" Ace asked.
I perk my eyebrows up in total surprise. "What the hell are you implying?"
"I'm only asking you to take an interview in my company, so that if you get accepted, then I'm going to deduct the diesel consumption you use in driving my car this morning." Ace stated.
This is unbelievable. Woah! who would have thought that someone as rich as him is even wicked. "Are you trying to make me pay for riding your car today?" I questioned.
"I'm glad that you are becoming smart in understanding things quickly." He utter.
I felt like yelling at him, but I composed myself.
Clenching my fist tight, I force a smile to appear on my lips. "But you still haven't paid me for driving you to work yesterday." I force myself to reply.
"Let's settle things in the evening. I have to be at work on time, so please drive." Ace declares authoritatively.
He had said the world please, so I'll spare him just this once.
I entered the car, and after arranging my suit which seemed a little bit uncomfortable, I accelerated the car engine and drove off.
Ace imputed the address on the car device, and in no time, I accelerated the car engine towards a big company.
This is the biggest company that I have ever seen in the entire city.
Ace rolls his wheelchair, and all his workers present bow their heads slightly.
I could feel a cold chill on my delicate body.
I felt like that when I took Ace to the conference meeting yesterday.
If a pin was to fall on the floor... it would be heard audibly.
This is to say how quiet Ace company suddenly turned into.
He made his way towards his office, and immediately opened his laptop. "You have to leave my office, Natasha. This place isn't where they play games." Ace declares.
I perk my eyebrows in total surprise. "Did I say that I'm here to play games with you?"
"Then why are you in my company?" Ace declares.
I shake my head sideways. "Sorry! But I'll take my lead." I quickly apologize
Ace didn't bother to look at me, as he rolled his wheelchair towards his office table, and started his work of the day.
I made my way out of his office, to head straight to any restaurant downtown.
Besides, I have declared to myself that I'm going to find a nice job today, and I'm going to keep to my word
"Miss! Why are you crying?" I asked the lady who was currently sobbing.
No one was paying attention to her, and it was annoying. "I need that job. I need the money to fend for my family." She declares as she sniffs her nose.
"You have a family?" I asked.
Immediately I let my statement out, I scolded myself for asking such a stupid question.
She glared at me with bloodshot eyes. "I'm twenty-seven!" The lady declares.
I nod my head in total surprise. The lady looks like someone who's currently at the age of nineteen.
She's very young in appearance. "Just hold on, miss. I'll try to get the job for you." I said because I feel pity for her.
"Do you work here?" She interrogates. I shake my head sideways. "Trust me okay!" I mumble.
I made my way toward the place where the interview is being held.
The lady sat down beside me, and we both patiently waited.
Finally! It was my turn. "You are going to get the job okay," I reassure her once more, before making my way towards the interviewer's office.
"Why are you here?" Abe asked.
I didn't expect to see him, and I have no idea that he was the interviewer.
"I came for the interview." I declare.
"Where are your credentials?" Abe asked as he continued to stare at me, with his usual cold gaze.
If I had known that Ace is the interviewer... Then I won't have promised the lady that I had just met.
"Please!" I yelled, hitting myself on the wall. "Please don't be cruel." I cried out, as I shut the door of the office.
I seized the remote that controls the blindfold, and I started screaming, throwing things all over the ground.
"You have to stop Natasha!" He exclaims, and it seems that he's totally surprised.
"You are a cruel CEO," I yelled, pushing all that was placed on his table.
Abe couldn't take it anymore, so he called security.
Well! I have successfully relished my plan.
The security guard ordered me to give Ace the key unless they are going to break into the office, and I'll have to pay for any damage.
Pfft! I gave Abe the key, and the security guard dragged me out of the office.
The only person left in the hall, waiting to be interviewed is the lady I met earlier.
It seems that all those who had been present got scared, that they no longer want to be interviewed.
I wink at the lady. "You can resume work tomorrow." I heard Abe proclaiming from behind me.
