Chapter 8 - impressions

Tabibah regretted not knocking him unconscious.

He was very, very, very noisy. If not for the fact that she couldn't hurt him herself, or she would be affected. She would have ripped out his tongue.

No, not the tongue, tongues are very important.

Shut up!!

Perhaps blasting him into oblivion was a better choice.

Without his, knowledge, he felt very comfortable with her due to the mate bond, and so he talked and talked, in just two days she knew everything that happened in the last nine hundred years.

I thought he was fifty? How does he know these things?

She underestimated his ability to find gossip.

He was only quiet at night time or early morning when she absorbed the essence of the moon and early sunlight.

"Bibah. " He whined softly, and her eyes snapped open.

The sun was already high overhead, and its bright ray shined through the opening at the top of the cave. A clear silver waterfall run through it and Tabibah sat on a slab of rock in the middle of the river in a mediation position.

This little imp wanted beating, first Tabby now Bibah?

"Bibah, I'm hungry. " He howled loudly when he saw her eyes were opened. "I can feel my stomach touching the back of my ribs, is your plan to starve me to death? "

He fell on the floor with a 'plop' and lay down there. "I can't breathe, I can't sleep, all I see is food. I need food. I want to eat chicken laps and braised rabbit and pepper soup and cornmeal"

Tabibah blinked slowly, his words just settling in her brain. No wonder her speed of healing was slow. She forgot she required food, as she was not unconscious any longer.

"Bibah, change this stone into a big fat rabbit and I will prepare it. " He said, raising a small stone with his dainty arms.

Tabibah snorted: Are you crazy? Do you think I'm the unknown God? Witches can't turn dead things into living things… Or they would be brainless zombies.

Etim sat up with great difficulty, and his stomach grumbled loudly. "Aren't you like the strongest being in existence now. You still can't do this little?"

She huffed in anger, his mouth will be the death of him.

You flatter me, now, go hunt.

His eyes brighten with immediate speed, looking like two green moons. "Really? "

Tabibah nodded, and he stood up, adjusting his heavy clothes. " You are the one who said so. Don't worry, I will bring a lot of food." He declared and ran out.

Tabibah stood up slowly, her bare feet curving slightly as she passed through the river to the other side.

She couldn't resist following Etim with her golden eyes. This was a great opportunity to try to escape, she couldn't expect less from him, he will be dumb if he didn't use it.

He was dumber than she thought.

First, he went to a random part of the forest and weaves a basket out of twins at a speed that made her surprised. It was a large basket.

She took this moment to take a bath and conjure an outfit, which was what she wanted to do when Etim held her hands.

The outfit couldn't be thick and was sheer, but it was better than flinging her almost bare breast and ass everywhere.

The sheer black dress formed a long ruffled skirt that was split at both sides and had an off-shoulder. She took her pendant outside, grateful for the fact her powers were dark gray and not yellow like Caasi's. At least it made it seem less transparent.

Her golden eyes looked for Etim and saw him putting a big fat rabbit in his filled basket.

Were rabbits always this big? She couldn't recall, but she was surprised by how quickly he filled the basket.

But then again, he was an elf, and they sensed plants. He carried a bundle of dried wood and followed the trail back home.

He didn't even try to run. So foolish. Yet a small smile formed on her pale lips.

The smile wiped off when he came back to the cave, sweating profusely. He dropped everything and stuck out his dark pink tongue, licking his lips.

The sweat on his skin was like dew water, clean and glassy without any dirt, and it made his hair stick to his face seductively. How can someone look this good sweating? He was making her aroused. Caasi once told her about a time his mother left him with food for his brother, so he had to watch it and couldn't taste it. Tabibah used to laugh at his description of pain at that time, but now she could relate to him. She never expected that one day, she would be a sex-craving maniac because of a young child. She felt like a pedophile.

Pull off your clothes!

Etim shrieked and covered his chest like he was violated. "Wh-wh-what? You-you said that you won't sleep with me."

Tears immediately sprouted from his eyes, making Tabibah roll her eyes.

It was surprising how he beats Claud at being dramatic. Ignoring the mate bond's urge to soothe him, she walked towards him slowly.

If I wanted to sleep with you, I barely need to wave my fingers before your clothes turn to ashes, with you chained to my bed and me fucking you to my satisfaction. So stop, thinking rubbish thoughts all day.

Her words were very vivid, sharp, and crude but Etim found an unnatural comfort in them, Tabibah was known for many things and one of them was her proficiency in doing whatever she says. So it doesn't matter how much he was bothered right now, nothing was happening. He was very disappointed in himself.

He gazed at her warily before letting his fur coat drop. Then another shirt, and another…

Tabibah could have sworn she counted up to fifteen shirts and twelve pants that were dropped. It could have been more. How did he not… Suffocate?

He was left in a long silk shirt that was colored like fresh grasses and a pair of brown pants.

Tabibah hated the fact he wore Elementalist style. He would look better in witches' robes.

He was lean, really lean with a body that couldn't go wrong when placed in a dress. Total opposite of Sao.

He stared at her again like a lost bunny before he seemed to make a decision and placed his hands in front of his stomach, bringing out a pot.

What in Cerci's name…

Where did you bring that from?

He shivered. He knew he had just done something stupid. Etim had one secret he didn't even dare to tell Queen Mia. Now, Tabibah was aware of it.
