SETH'S POV
I tread into my room with a slug-like pace. She'd left me there after rejecting the proposal. Right now all I felt was pain, starting from my fingertips trailing the length of my abdomen and escaping down my legs.
I CAN'T MARRY YOU.
I opened the glass sliding doors to the balcony, trotting in, I leaned against the bannisters, supporting myself up with my arms.
My face ravaged with despair, and I felt a childish wash of anger come alive in my self conscious. A vast gust of wind swept up the terrace. A sifting sound of whistling revolved in the air, the wind caused larger branches below to sway.
I felt the wind resistance as I took a few steps back from the bannisters supporting my weight. Twigs swiveled through the air as they snapped off the trees on the castle grounds.
