Practising with Reichert, Seth was finally able to lessen the stirring of his dark pool section, he just needed the right spark to help him finally be able to control the dark entirely.

Are they reconciled? Nope, not even close.
Seth needed guidance, he asked Reichert and the man agreed after Seth brought three bottles of liquid to call a truce. They aren't exactly on talking terms but they're not talking either. It was more of a give-and-take basis. Reichert takes quality liquor and gives Seth tips to control his darkness in return.
At the museum, as Seth's fingertips trailer the polished surface of the paternal family statue it was as if the air froze and everything he could sense around him seized. He was completely detached from reality. The real world turned into something indescribable and when he tried to reabsorb it, it overtook him.
