Ari was in a living room standing in front of a guy tied to the chair looking terrified and confused.
"So tell me-..." Ari stared him down
"Do you know this man?" she shoved a picture of the guy that broke into the castle into his face.
the man who's tied up quickly shakes his head as if saying no.
ari sighs "there's no use lying to me, so imma ask again."
She walked to the man and put her hand on his face.
"Do you know this man?" She showed him the picture again.
the man shakes his head again this time a bit slower as if he's unsure.
ari started to use her powers and started to play around with his face making it deformed and bringing almost all of his blood to one point.
his legs and hands instantly went cold.
"Listen if I pop this thing" she touches huge amounts of blood on one point of his face. "You'll die from blood loss." Ari started to slowly squeeze that one point slightly and the man instantly started to freak out.
Ari took the duct tape off of his mouth
"Ok ok, I know him alright!" he started screaming.
"I just wanted some gold coins, that's all!"
"where did you meet him" Ari continued to interrogate
"huh??"
"Where did you meet him!" Ari yelled at the man
" i- met him at the library right outside the door and never saw him again I swear!"
'I knew it wouldn't be as easy-' she thought to herself.
she let out a sigh and gave the guy a cold stare
"please....let me go... I gave you what you wanted-"
Ari bursts the guy's head with her powers and leaves his house.
"ok- so far I'm nowhere close to tracking this guy."
"But I'll find you soon and I won't get caught before then."
"I'll chase you to hell if I have to"
"for Connor....and for the princess."

[January 3rd,2030]
Dear diary, it's been two days since we started our journey to willborrow cave one step closer to my goals, though I didn't tell Kai yet where we're going and why. I probably should tell him.
On the second day kai almost died to a mutant bird but I didn't notice I was busy admiring flowers.
He then went off on me saying that I need to be a better leader but I didn't really listen.
p.s I think kai is getting a bit too close for comfort.

"What do you write in that book all day?" Kai said out of curiosity trying to look into it.
Astra blasted his face with a gush of water making him step back.
"It's private!" Astra yelled, shutting the book and shoving it in her bag.
"I missed it when you were a bit less aggressive-"
Astra turned around and started walking, not saying a word.
"Hey, wait for me!" kai tried to catch up to astra
"you never told me where we were going" kai realized
"we're going to willborrow cave" astra handed him a map.
"why are we going to a cave"
"because I wanna see what stones I could find we're a bit broke if you didn't notice" astra continues walking ahead.
Kai looked at the map astra gave him and saw that willborrow cave is not that far away.
lumi ran around the place whilst still keeping near the two of them.

"finally we're here." astra said out of breath
"That took forever."
"it wasn't that long-" kai looked at her confused
"hello!" They both heard a voice approaching them.
They both saw a blonde short girl who looked to be 12.
"Welcome to willborrow city." she greeted them
"Uh, who are you?" Kai asked the girl.
"I'm the temporary greeter of this town my mom fell sick so I'm taking over-" the girl responded
"greeter?" Astra was confused
"It's a person who gives new civilians a guide around their town." kai explained
'Oh so a tour guide we didn't have one of those at home' Astra thought "wait isn't it illegal to have kids work!?"
" if she's below 10 yes" Kai explained "how do you not know this."
Astra didn't answer that and picked up Lumi from the ground
"oh by the way we have a mining competition going on later this afternoon, if you want to join just go there at 1pm." The girl turned around and pointed to a huge building.
"That's our local in, and if you want." you can spend time at our local library just a few houses down."
"oh ok thanks." Astra picked up Lumi and headed straight to the library.
"Can you just show me around please-" Kai asked the little girl.
"sure why not" the little girl started to walk ahead "follow me"

Astra looked around the library and found a few books about mages and magic control.
She went to a nearby table to place the books down but then something caught her eye.
It was a book that looked alot like the one that girl had back at the guild.
She went to pick it up but felt a tug on the other side of the case so she pulled back harder and the person on the other side also pulled back a lot harder.
Astra made one more huge tug making the other person let go and she fell with the books and all of the others fell on her.
"ouch-" astra got up and started to pick up all of the books she borrowed to read.
"hey you ok?" she looked up and saw a girl with long cyan hair and the same color eyes and dressed in a rough way almost like she was an adventurer.
"yeah I'm fine" Astra told her as she continued to pick up the books.
The girl tried to help her pick up every book she accidentally dropped.
"I'm so sorry about this" the girl told Astra
astra smiled "its ok"
