Poppy's Pov
I I heard a hint of sarcasm in his voice. I didn't know why he was getting riled up; I was doing my best for someone who had never played baseball.
"You ready now?"
"Ready." Once again, I held the mitten close to my face as he assumed his starting position. But he just stood there, poised to throw, for what seemed like a long time. A really long time. My knees were already killing me.
"Are you going to throw the ball or not?"
Theo threw his mitten to the ground. "That's it. Great. You just ruined my concentration."
"For the love of God," I said tossing my own mitten to the ground. I grimaced as I stood up gradually, no longer feeling my legs. "What exactly do you have to concentrate on? Is it so hard to throw the damn ball!"
"I knew I shouldn't have asked you. Angela is younger but she is far better than you," he cried stomping towards me.
