Poppy's Pov
I felt a nudge on my shoulder. "Hey where is Colin?" Sarah asked.
" He said he wanted to go to the bathroom. This is going to be one heck of a game. Too bad Lucy is sick today."
"I think I'm gonna drop this dumb class," Sarah grumbled.
After the chaotic gym class where Mr. Bell ended up with back pain after failing to do a long jump properly, Sarah and I made our way back to the locker room.
Dan approached us in a hurry, panting for air his face covered in sweat. "It's Colin. He got into accident."
My heart immediately felt like it jumped out of my chest. I realized then that Colin never made it back.
"What!" Sarah and I screamed in shock.
What? When? What happened to him? I asked in frantically.
"He fell down from the stairs," Dan replied.
"Is he okay? It's not bad right?" Sarah yelled.
