poppy's Pov
It was a joint field trip with the seniors, so I was excited to spend the day with Liam. We weren't seeing much of each other recently although, we texted a lot.
When we arrived at school, the school buses were already there and some students were heading inside. Mr. mike was berating a student over her choice of outfit, nothing new to see there.
I saw Sarah, Lucy and Dan on one end of the parking lot, talking with each other.
"Hey guys," I said as I approached them.
"Um Poppy, maybe you missed the memo, but you do know that this isn't camp, right? What's with the bag?" Sarah said, gesturing to my tote bag almost filled to the brim.
"We are going to a park we never had before, so it doesn't hurt to be prepared."
"What exactly do you have in there?" Lucy gave me a quizzical look.
"A few stuff I might need," I said blushing. Maybe I went a bit overboard.
