"This game is rigged," he said, groaning.
"No, you are a sore loser like Poppy," I said grinning. Before he could respond to that, I heard the doorbell ring. "I'll get it."
When I opened the door, Poppy was standing outside.
"Hey you."
"Hey back."
"Is your dad at home?"
"Sure, why?"
"I want to ask him something," she brushed me and made her way to the living room.
"Good morning Mr. Parker. How are you?"
Roger was in the room with us and when he heard her voice, he ran excitedly towards her.
"How are you boy? I missed you too," she said as he patted his head, with his tail wagging in delight.
"I'm doing well, Poppy," my dad replied. "Good morning to you too, he said with a smile on his face. Tell your mother I'm very thankful of the dishes she sent over."
