Colin's Pov
"Just know that you are welcome at our home anytime," said Mrs. Williams. She ran to the stove and was juggling two trays in her hands. "Have a seat you two. It'll just be another minute."
"You can seat next to me," Poppy said. Her dad was seated at the end of the table while her mom and brother were on the opposite side of us.
"Shall we say grace? Dear God," Poppy's father started and I bowed my head in accordance wanting to be respectful of their religion, even if I was agnostic. The few times I had been to Dan's house, his family had never done this even though they were Christian too. My family barely even had dinners together anymore. My dad and I ate on a strange schedule, where lunch was in school and dinner was whenever you came home.
