I had sent Celiana home with Edna, not wanting either of them hurt, and so that I could sneak the Shadow to Delacroix when I caught it.
Celiana didn't know about the iron box and the vile of blood hidden under my bed, didn't know about my dream with Vozeth and Delacroix. I knew she'd have tried to convince me to do as Ezra said, but if I could save them without putting them in danger, I would. So, a week after my dream, I was finally alone. Tomorrow I was supposed to fly home, but instead I'd fly back towards the Gate...if I caught the Shadow. If not, I would either have to rent a hotel room or come up with an excuse to stay with Hannah's family a little longer.
