"CONTROL MYSELF?!! I'm a MONSTER! Monsters don't control themselves! That's the whole IDEA!"
-Jeff Smith, "Bone, Vol. 5: Rock Jaw Master of the Eastern Border (Bone, #5)"
Grumble!
Wodnik was angry.
Wodnik had just settled in a small pond of beauty near the border of Poland and was having a peaceful swim when a bunch of children splashed themselves in. They weren't supposed to swim where he swam. They weren't supposed to bother him. Didn't their parents teach them anything important!
Grumble!
As much as Wodnik wanted have the little beasts for dinner, it wasn't their fault. In the past, he wouldn't have spared a Human child. They tasted better than the adults, but times change. Humans have devolved into stupid creatures, selfish and dangerous. The younger generations being taught to do nothing, while the older generation sits back and watches the world crumble beneath them.
Wodnik felt rage surge, creating a distraction and a need.
