Kore slowly turned around, seeing the tall old man with a white ponytail and a rather long beard. He was also dressed pretty nicely, as he wore a black suit and glasses.
"Uh-Uhmm," Kore stuttered at the presence of the old man, who he thought he had seen somewhere before. "I- I got lost and somehow ended up here."
The old man just looked at him with sharp eyes and pointed towards the door behind him. "Left, left, and right. Then follow the corridor and you are out. " When Kore looked him in the eyes, he knew there were words in them. They were as follows. Leave this place now!
Seeing and understanding the message, he quickly bowed and let out a quiet "Thank you" and was on his way back. He did know that most of the students in this school were probably a lot stronger than him and the teachers were probably even stronger, but he didn't know if it was because his sense of stat increased a bit or if the old man was just so strong that just looking at him made him fear for his life. He definitely knew that if he were to pick a fight with him, he would probably. No. 100% lost his life.
Kore ran out of the corridor as quickly as possible, luckily not running into another teacher. When he let out a big sigh of relief, he had seen a message appear.
[The egg has taken some damage due to an ominous aura].

Kore noticed that the hatching progress went down by 5%, but as he saw a little crack in the egg, he feared that the aura of the old man that caught him dealt damage to the egg. Kore didn't know how this was possible as the old man just let him be and didn't actually attack him, seeing his HP was also full. If him just being there was able to crack an egg a bit, that was a serious strength he had there. It could also be possible that he just attacked the egg directly using his aura in some way, as what the system said, but Kore just couldn´t figure out why he would do that. Whatever it was, he was lucky that he got away this easy after getting caught after the teacher´s only door. Kore was also happy he got away from the old man.

When Zyn and Leo were left alone in the dungeon, the two of them just left without saying anything to each other. They were just trying to process what happened right now. If Turb saw something similar when Kore used his element on him, it made sense to them why he was so scared, but the thing they wondered was why Kore would use this on them. Maybe they also completely misunderstood Kore´s element, and like Turb said, it was just a threat that the two of them didn´t understand because they weren´t there. Anyways, when they got out of the dungeon, someone they just thought about spoke to them.
"HEY SHITHEADS!" Turb shouted, panting and with new pants. He just ran back here after changing. "That shit-friend of yours just got taken somewhere! Where is he!? "
"You really want to go to him after seeing his element?" Leo asked, thinking about earlier. "You really are annoying, you know?"
"LIKE I SAID BEFORE! THAT WAS NOOO ELEMENT!" Turb screamed, looking down at Leo, who had just yawned at him. "NOW TELL ME! Where. Is. He?"
"Hehehe. Sorry, but we sadly don't know either. " Zyn spoke as he pushed Leo back a bit and stood between the two. "He just got taken away for some questioning, but we don´t know where he is right now either."
"Tsk," Turb spat on the ground, and eventually left, hearing Zyn speak. ´This bastard! I´m going to find him.´ Turb thought.
Zyn sighed as Turb left and looked back at Leo. "How do you even get to know people like him?" Zyn asked. "Haven´t you known him before coming to this school?"
Hearing Zyn ask, Leo realised he never really explained it. "I didn´t tell you right?" Leo said. "I never told you that Turb is my cousin, right?"
Hearing that made Zyn's eyes wide open.He just couldn´t imagine Leo and Turb being related. That one guy is a sleepy battle maniac who said he was a tinkerer, and the other one is a delinquent who is always loud. Then a thought came to him, thinking about something Leo said before.
"Didn´t you say your family was full of tinkerers with the sleep element?" Zyn asked.
"Yeah, that´s true." Leo explained. "But you get one element from one of your parents. Even though most of us had the sleep element, it simply wasn´t possible for everyone to have it. One example of it is Turb. He is a fire elemental, which he got from his father. That also meant he was basically not treated as a part of our Tinkerer family. He was still family. Just not a tinkerer. " What Leo explained sounded quite plausible for Zyn. He thought it was a bit harsh for him to be treated differently by his family, but thinking about what he had done and was about to do to his friends, he just couldn´t help but hate him.
After that, the two of them went around the academy looking for Kore. Some time had already passed when he left with Professor Dreos, so they didn't know if they could find him somewhere or if he was still being questioned by Dreos. Anyway, when going around school, they found Dreos and decided to speak with him.
"Excuse me, Professor Dreos." Zyn asked the professor, who looked like he was disappointed over something. "Have you finished your questioning with the student Kore?"
Looking at the two students, Dreos spoke. "Yeah, that brat went back to his room. He really isn´t someone you want to get near to. " Dreos was unaware that Kore basically lied to him while tricking the lie detector, so he just assumed that. as it was one of the conditions of misfortune that Kore mentioned, if someone were to be near him for too long, they might figure out his element, making them die in around a month.
"Thank you!" Zyn said Ignoring the second part of what Dreos said, going with Leo back to the dorms.
Arriving there, they saw a sleeping Kore with his egg in his arms while hugging it.
