Kore was taken aback by seeing the so called princess, granddaughter of the current kind of the kingdom, on the ground and kneeling before him while calling him master. Normally, people of high status, like nobles, also have high pride. Now here was a literal princess kneeling before him. Due to his hatred for the Grisgame family, he kind of enjoyed it, but if somebody saw that or if she told her grandparents, he would probably get executed on the same day.
That's why he decided to stay polite. "Please stay up, princess." Kore spoke. "I should be the one kneeling just for getting to speak to you in private." While saying what he said, he nearly vomited out his breakfast.
Just thinking about having to kneel before one of the Grisgame family made him want to die if he was ever in this kind of situation. He once fell to the ground back then, but he wouldn't count that as kneeling. He just fell down due to the trauma he had been through back then. Luckily, it got healed thanks to his reincarnation skill, so he will be able to stand his ground the next time he meets the king.
When Lilly stood up, Kore decided to ask another question which interested him the most right now, while keeping the other stuff he wanted to ask for later. "You said it was nice to meet me again, Have we met before? " Kore asked, still keeping his polite tone up.
The princess before him just chuckled and decided to explain. "Of course you wouldn't recognize me. I looked a lot different back then." Lilly explained slowly. "But I'm sure you remember." Lilly bowed down and started speaking again. "That's why I want to apologise. I´m terribly sorry. I am sorry for everything I have done to you in one day. And thank you for everything you have done for me after I tried to do these things to you. Thank you. " Lilly raised her head again, having tears come down from her eyes.
Kore just couldn't follow. He didn't understand where he met this important person before. He was sure he would remember every encounter he had with the Grisgame family. even if it's just a little kid at that time. And what could she have done that moved her to tears? Why is she thankful to Kore? These were questions Kore had everywhere in his head. He thought that maybe she had the wrong person before him.

His first thought was that he maybe could use this to have a pet in the Grisgame family, but if she were to ever find out, then his head would be off once again in one single move. Her grandfather is already known to be an original, but on top of that, it is already said he is stronger than anyone in the kingdom. Of course, these are just rumors as he couldn´t possibly have fought everyone in the kingdom, but he definitely is at the top. "Uhm... princess," Kore spoke. "I´m sorry to tell you this, but I think you might have the wrong person." Kore tried to kinda make her stop cry with his body language and voice, but Lilly just responded with a scream. "NO!" She wiped off her tears that stopped once she let out her scream and started speaking normally again. "I am 100% sure. you, Kore Gerus. You are the one that saved my life after ending it."
Now Kore was even more confused. Did he end her life? Did he save her life? When did something like this happen? She said his name was Kore Gerus and there weren't many Kore Gerus out there as the name Kore was unique in its own way. And Kore knew there was only one thing he had to-. "May I ask when it was that the two of us met?" Kore asked if he had an idea about who Lilly actually is.
"Around 10 years ago." Lilly asked, trying to get Kore to remember. "Back then, you had just turned six. You were so cute back then. Of course you are still cute, but you know what I mean? "Lilly chuckled a bit after she quickly released her last sentence. Still, what Lilly said made Kore sure of it.
"You..." Kore clenched his fist, ready to hit something, but decided to go with the collar grab and lifted Lilly a bit in the air. "Are you that FUCKING ASSASSIN?!? WHY DID YOU WANT TO KILL MY FAMILY?!" Lilly kinda expected something like this to happen, so she bit her tongue to not let her 10 year old brain take control of her and burst out in tears.
"Please calm down," Lilly said, hoping to get to have a normal conversation with Kore without getting screamed at. "Like I said, I'm sorry about that. Please. Let me down. " Kore, of course, still had a heart and just couldn't punch someone that looked like a 10 year old girl. That´s why he let go of her and tried to keep his anger in.
"As if a simple apology makes it good." Kore said, facing the ground. "If something had happened, not even your little body would have saved you." Kore really liked to punch a wall or something right now to let out his anger. He had to keep in but he thought he would probably scare Lilly away with that.
"That is excactly why I want to pay. Not only for what I have done but for what you have given me." Lilly answered once again, kneeling down. "Maybe I said it too silent before for you to hear it because it´s so embarrassing but... But I want to pay you by serving you. I want you to be my master from here on out!"
