Probably, I left the jewels in one of the dresses. You think Linda will see your jewels and she won't return them, the Prince asked her.
You never can tell. Let's search her room. I'm sure the jewels will be there, Jane stated.
It's late now. Let ask her in the morning. Jane was mad. She had wanted the search done that night.
Prince left her and walks back to his room.

Although, I was reluctant to receive them from her but she persuaded me that she wanted me to have them. They are in my room.

Linda could not believe what was going on. She was just short of words.

Linda left the scene and returned minutes later with the jewels. Thank you Linda, the prince commended her as he collected the jewels from her.
He then asked her to fix them breakfast. Jane was seriously bittered. She had thought the Prince will send her away immediately.
She realized the prince had soft spot for her.
Meanwhile, the Prince had seen that Jane is a monster of a woman. She's not a woman that want to change from her evil characters.
He can't possibly settle for such as a wife. He needs to stop the relationship now that they haven't wedded, he concluded.
After Linda had completed her work and had left the apartment for her room, the Prince inquired from Jane the reasons for her negative attitude towards the new assistant. She however claimed there is no rancour between them but that she's angry that she deliberately stole her jewels.
The Prince realized Jane is intimidated by the beauty and good manners Linda possessed and just want him to get rid of her from the palace. But he had made up his mind that such will not happen.
She confirmed returning the golden jewels back to you and that you later gave them as gift to her. Are you saying Linda was lying? Prince inquired. So you believed her lies, Jane asked. I told you Linda was lying, she insisted.
You need to improve in your behaviour to people if you actually want this relationship to continue Jane, Prince re-emphasized. That's just my candid advice to you. Please bear this in mind, Prince advised Jane.
Prince had developed love for Linda having monitored her behaviour and other qualities in about a month in the palace. But he couldn't express his love to her because of Jane.
He has been with Jane for over three years and had seen many of her flaws. She's becoming worsen by the day instead of improving positively. The Prince is not at ease with her any longer.
They recently went out shopping. She wanted some dresses and they had gone out to the shopping mall to pick them.

The dresses were paid for by the Prince and they left for the palace. When they returned to the palace, the Prince told her, he is ending the relationship with her.
She screamed and yelled at the Prince that he can't possibly do that to her. Instead of pleading for her rudeness towards the attendant at the shopping mall, she was just yelling at the Prince for ending the relationship. But he ordered the guard to take her bag into the vehicle and that the driver should drop her off in her resident.
Meanwhile, Linda had gotten offer of new job in a Petroleum company. She's expected to resume at the company in a week.
She also knew the Prince have a soft heart for her but she never believe he would leave Jane to date another lady. She knew there is rancour between Prince and Jane because of her anger and arrogancy.
She thought Jane would changed. She never knew the Prince had falling in love with her.
She had resumed early on Monday as usual to prepare breakfast and carry out other domestic work. And also to intimate the Prince of her new employment.
She didn't know that the Prince had ended his relationship with Jane. The Prince was in the sitting room when Linda brought the breakfast to the dinning table.
Good morning sir, Linda greeted. How are you Linda? Prince inquired. I am fine sir, she responded.

She left the dinning table side and joined the Prince in the sitting room. Please sit, Prince advised Linda. She sat listening to the Prince.

Linda could not believe what was happening to her. She least expected the Prince asking her out. Talkless of asking her hand in marriage.

I could have done that long ago but my conscience will not allow me, thinking she would change her bad attitude towards people.
