Constance's POV:
Water everywhere.
Water burrowed into my nose, lungs, and stomach.
I felt my consciousness being swallowed by the cold water, and just as I was about to lose consciousness, a powerful arm pulled me out of the lake.
It was a hot body, and I couldn't help leaning toward it.
My consciousness was scattered, but my body couldn't help but lean toward this person.
After a few breaths, I slowly woke up.
Under the moonlight, platinum hair came into my sight, and that unreal handsome face took my breath away.
It was Terrance!
My heart skipped a beat at this moment as if the space in my heart had been filled up.
"Are you okay?" Terrance looked at me worriedly.
His voice was soft and gentle, with a tinge of nervousness and anxiety—a far cry from his usual cold and detached self.
I looked at him emotionally.
Seeing that I hadn't spoken, he seemed a little nervous. "Constance? Can you hear me?"
