Constance's POV:
I struggled to open my eyes.
Terrance was hugging me tightly.
He softly called my name, "Constance, wake up."
I looked up at him, panting heavily.
"What happened?" He looked at me worriedly.
"I had a nightmare. I dreamed that someone killed me," I said, panting heavily.
"Darling, it was just a dream," Terrance comforted me, gently stroking my back.
"I hope so," I muttered.
It felt more real compared to the previous dream. I was afraid that this was my future.
"Constance, I will always be by your side to protect you." Terrance hugged me and planted a kiss on my forehead.
I gradually fell asleep in his embrace.
Terrance's embrace was very warm. It was like magic that allowed me to sleep very peacefully.
For a whole week, he accompanied me to sleep every night. Those eyes never appeared in my dreams again.
