TOM LINK POV-
Driving into Alpha Valen's territory I looked into a very familiar pair of eyes passing me by in the opposite car. I felt unsettled after seeing the girl and my mind was distracted I couldn't place where I saw her. I was greeted by Alpha Valen and he looked absent minded when I asked how things were. "Oh uh sorry Tom I have a lot on my mind, especially with the girl in the car you just passed by". Xavier is...uhm is that girl your mate? I knew it was by the look he had on his face the look of concern and adoration when I asked him. "Indeed Tom, but she's a human and I despise humans after the death of my grandparents". I walked to him and put my hand on his shoulder, you know son your momma was a human to. After your father marked her, she shifted and boy was she one hell of a scary she wolf. So you see don't be to quick to reject her, because she is your strength. Xavier looked at Tom and clapped his shoulder, "thanks alot for the wise words I would sure think about it". I clapped my hands and we proceeded to Xavier's office, when Tish came walking towards us. "Hello Tom, where is the wife?" I saw Xavier glaring at Tish and probably mind linking her and he was "what the fuck?! Just leave!". She grimace and left. "I am sorry about her she thinks she's my Luna". Son don't apologize I know, now about those damn rogues, "yes Tom I am giving you 30 epilson warriors and 30 patrol warriors. They are trustworthy and will protect you from harm.".

XAVIER POV
We talked for hours and Tom ended up sleeping over. It was around 6PM when Koda left to fetch Mila Lynn I must say he came back quite late after dropping her at the university and his class, Marie made dinner and Tish was mad as hell. Tom called his wife and I adored the way how lovingly he was with her. I smelled her before I saw her and I smelled very familiar scent on her, she looked so tired and in pain. "Uhhm Alpha Valen sir sorry I am late, my e-evining teacher was late".She said glancing around, I smelled the lie and fear on her when she left but more I was angry that she called me Alpha how does she know?. Tom stopped eating and looked at Mila Lynn gazing almost into her soul. She looked at Tom and greeted him "Good evening sir, I am sorry for my appearance please excuse me, do enjoy your stay.". She weakly smiled at her mom and Blake looked worriedly at her. Her limp didn't pass me by, I was about to go to her when Tish came and sit on my lap, infront of everyone. "Baby I think we should make it official and tell the pack". Tom choked on his food and Muella gawked at us, Blake looked worriedly and Zale spoke up. "So dear mate you will trade your soul huh"?. I was disgusted with her so much, she is my brother's mate and she acts like he isn't even here. I pushed her off me and asked Tom to excuse me. I went to Mila Lynn's room and hear her crying. I knocked and she opened the door so afraid. "I am sorry Alpha please don't punish me". What! Where the fuck did that came from and how the fuck did she know about Alpha's? I looked at her and said my room needs cleaning right now. She got up and get the cleaning supplies, why is she so submissive?. I went back to the eating table and hear Zale arguing with Tish. I excuse myself again to go and look what Mila Lynn is taking so long. And what do I find? My lovely mate on my bed fast asleep holding my hoodie and tear stains on her cheecks. Why is she crying? And why is her eye turning blue? I went to pick her up so I can tuck her in warmly her eyes shot open and she screams a deafning ear pitching one. Tears all over again and her mumbling"please don't punish me I will do better please". It's like she doesn't even notice me. I cradle her to my chest and her sobs racked through her curvy body. Angel? She looks up and at me and quickly down. I tilt her head up and she said "he hurt me sir". I hold back a angry growl when I asked who hurt you Mia? She shakes her head and I know immediately who because Koda was the fucking teacher, it's his scent that is all over her. I cradle her to my chest and she shakes uncontrollably, "I will obey you sir I don't want any position in your life I know I have debt, I will leave when that's done". I pull her back and look at her she looks at me and blinks, Mila Lynn what is going on? You can trust me love. "Mr Koda said you are a human hater and will kill me if I dare to even eat at the same table as you sir, he said that your a Alpha and that I am nothing but trash and a play thing to you". Do you know what a Alpha is girl? "Duh...uh I mean yes it's a pack of wolves leader and the strongest..sir". Mmmm well yes I am the leader and the strongest of our uhm pa.... business so that's right but your my mat.... worker and I would never hurt you. What did Koda do to you? "Uhmm nothing sir I fell when I walked to a class". Mila Lynn I don't appreciate you lying to me, I want to know now!. I used my Alpha tone and saw how she shivered and the tears pooled up in her eyes again. "He slapped me and kicked me sir, because I forgot my project here at home".
