Chapter 18 - CHAPTER 17

XAVIER POV-
I was livid when I found out what Koda did to my mate, she is so fragile how dare he hurt her to a point of her being scared of me. She wanted to lie, but I smelled it immediately and the way she was looking around. I felt absolutely powerless, because I can't confront him but nor can I let it slide. Although I will punish him unnoticed for the harm he bought Mila Lynn, I hate it I hate the way she is submissive and how she looks at me. The way she calls me Alpha makes my blood boil, I wanted to make it special when I told her who and what I am hopefully she won't see me as a monster. I sat down at my desk and started on admin, my mind kept drifting off to my mate and how she is hurt. I was about to go to her when Tish stormed into my office and began yelling, "how dare you chase me and your unborn child away Xaxier Valen?!" I was fuming with rage when I felt how she smacks me and starts to cry, I pushed her away when I caught a vaguely scent of Mila Lynn. Stop it this fucking instant Tish! When we fucked I always used protection that's my law, wrap it before you tap it. So there's no way in hell I am the father. "She pushed me into my chair and kissed me, she moans out loud and grinds on me moaning again. I push her off of me and walk out. I turn back and say to her she has one hour to leave or she's dead.
On my walk down I bump into my brother Zale, who looks very uncomfortable and worried. He glances at me and I smell his worry intensify, Zale? I questioned him. "brother I uh uhm need to get to the perimeter". ZALE! I boomed in my Alpha voice, reluctantly he turns around and looks at me, "Yes Alpha?" What the fuck is wrong with you?
"Xavier the new girl she is your mate?" What does it have to do with your attitude brother?
"She went with Kevin and they were almost like lovers you know". At that statement I growled so loudly the house shook, WHERE?! Zale looked at his brother never saw him this angry he thought.
"To the club Alpha". I literally felt like I was on fire, rage was rolling off me and my blood thumped in my ears. KILL! KILL HIM XAVIER! Shadow my wolf bellows in my head. I hate Kevin on this very moment how dare he take what's mine, oh and my little mate I will make her pay sweetly. A roar ripped through my body and everything went quiet, Kevin looked at me with hate but quickly bowed his head in submission. Mila-Lynn looked very drunk and she reeked off Kevin, she clinged to him and looked at me but not noticing me. I was so very pissed at the sight of my drunken mate clinging to that fucker. I walked to them and saw how Kevin was holding her, around the waist and sniffing her hair, I growled at him and he pulled her closer to him. When he made that move I smelled the fear coming from my mate and pulled her into my chest roaring MINE! She looked at me but she was long gone, we're going home now love I whispered to her, she looks at me and says slurry "D-dont touch touch me g-get away Mr big boss I am a-a big g-girl shoo.". I was impressed but picked her up when she fainted and got her home safely. I took her to my room and layed her on a soft bed then I took rose water and sponsed her off with the cool rosy smelling water so she won't reek tomorrow morning. She came to and just looked around before she sleeps again I tell her sleep baby girl you need it, tomorrow is going to be hell.

MILA LYNN POV-
"At last baby girl your up? How's hell feeling"?.
Oh shit I thought to myself, Mr Valen uhhm sir sorry I said to him avoiding his gaze I think I should go. I got up really slow my head was killing me and the light was to bright. What the actual fuck happened? I asked myself silently. He looks at me and my cheeks are on fire, uhm sir what happened last night? Sorry I am asking I can't remember. "I am quite hurt you can't remember confessing how you feel about me girl" I look up at mr Valen bewildered and he is looking at me with a straight face. Uhhm w-what excuse me sir? I I am sorry for embarrassing you, I will leave this instant. " Oh your quite alright love lie down please, for the record you didn't do anything". Oh I was so relieved and relaxed gradually, "what were you thinking going with Kevin and to drink yourself into a coma"? I uhmm I needed some time out and he invited me, I wanted to go because I think there can be something between me and.... "NO! THERE CAN'T BE YOUR MINE LITTLE MINX"!. I looked flabbergasted at the hot specimen infront of me and boy he looked very pissed at me. He slammed the door shut behind him and I hear him utter curses. Someone knocked and Blake popped his head inside "are you alright Mia"? Uhmm yes Mr Smith thank you. He quickly left and Big Boss enters again regret written all over his face. "Mila Lynn, I am sorry I yelled at you, you will be my personal assistant for the next few weeks and my partner to a ball I am invited to". I looked at him and only nodded, "there is clean clothes in the bathroom for you feel free to freshen up and join us for breakfast please". Thank you Mr Valen I will be down but what about my work? "Ah little minx don't you worry everything will make sense in a while mate".
