MILA LYNN POV
Shit shit shit I am late for classes and to top it off its Friday which means it's the Dock's staff meeting tonight. I ran into the classroom and saw I am 10 minutes late, I saw a guy looking at me and grinning cunningly so I'd rather looked away in every class there after he was there with his stupid smile. After lunch I walked to the diner and heard a car honking at me, it was the same cunningly smiling paw guy and I felt like he was stalking me. So I walked at quicker pace and just before I can round the street to the diner I am grabbed, I tried yelling but got slapped really hard. "Shut it you little bitch, tonight at 10 make sure you are ready or else mommy might just end up in the hospital again." I was in a shaking state when I got away and entered the diner, luckily Blake agreed I could work in the kitchen, so no one saw I was roughed up. That's what I thought, Clara came and yanked my face to one side. "Lilly what happened?!" She nicknamed me. Nothing Clara calm down please, thank you for your care and love. "Anything for you my friend, us girls need to stick together". Hey Clara at what time is the boss coming? "Oh Alp...Mr Valen is coming around 7 or 8 I am not sure that's why we are closing early". Awesome thanks Clara, I wonder what she wanted to say before she broke off. It was nearing 7 pm and I was a mess kept on messing orders up and stressing about 10pm. "Hey Mila Lynn are you doing okay girl?" The chef asked me. Yes I am so sorry I am just a bit occupied, "no need to apologize we are almost done. Come on we need to prepare a platter for the Alp...boss". That again? Oky cool I am on my way. At 7 everyone was ready and waiting on our boss, even mom was there. The door of the diner opened and Blake stepped in followed by a beautiful lady, before I could get a look at the boss I am called by the oven to take out the steaklets for the platter. I heard a very manly voice which made me shiver and peeked my interest. "Good evening everyone, sorry I am 5 minutes late", I was about to go out and greet the boss when suddenly I tripped and fell against the dishwasher, I broke a lot of kitchen ware. Now I am to embarrassed to even go out and I have to clean this mess. I quickly got up but a glass pokes through my hand and I hiss at the pain not noticing Blake coming in..

XAVIER POV
Good evening everyone sorry I am 5 minutes late, I greeted the Dock's staff they only smiled and nodded. It has come under my attention that there are boys coming in here and harassing the female employees, if anyone of you see it please stop it or immediately call Mr Smith or myself. The whole time I was speaking I smelled the heavenly scent of vanilla and chocolate close by, it had Shadow stirred and prancing around. "Xav it's her our mate is near" Shadow stop it now please, I am in a meeting with the staff. I asked alot of questions and got satisfactory answers, I looked over to Marie and saw she was looking on her watch and then to the kitchen. Mrs Miller is everything alright? "Yes sir thank you" Blake looked like a cat who stole some cream. I heard glass broke in the kitchen and raise my brow to Blake. Who the fuck is here? I linked him "Alpha my apologies it must be Mila Lynn she is busy with your food". Go tell her to work neatly and stop breaking my stuff! "Yes Alpha". I watched Blake going into the kitchen and hear him swear. "Oh fuck Mila Lynn are you alright, that's a nasty wound we have to clean it right away". This girl sparks my interest and I catch her breathy response "I am so sorry Mr Smith I will pay for the damages and the platter is ready sir". She sounded like a real angel and I was about to go so I opened the door and all I see is food over me and I hear loud gasps with Marie standing up to get to the girl but one look from me and she sitted down. A girl with the most beautiful smouldering eyes stared at me shocked and fearfully she looked like a angel. "MATE MATE MATE" Shadow yelled in my head, I looked at her and felt fury inside me. A FUCKING HUMAN SHADOW MY MATE IS A HUMAN AND I HATE THEM! "Xavier calm down she's still ours" NO SHADOW I WILL RUIN HER THEN REJECT HER! "Xav please don't she's our strength and light" QUIET! I feel Shadow retreat to the back of my head and his emotions are saddened. The girl my mate spoke up and it made me mad again. "I am so very sorry sir I didn't see you please allow me to help you clean up" Get away please and just - just leave you are fired!. I fired her while looking into her smouldering eyes and saw how she broke. I looked at Blake and he looked at me shocked and disappointed. I dismissed the other staff and saw how my mate left sobbing, She apologized again and took her leave. Blake gave me one look and linked me so Tish can't hear "she's your mate isn't she Alpha?" Yes but not for long Blake I linked back. I had to cancel my trip due to the unusual encounter with the girl so it was just before 10pm, the diner's door opened and there stood Marie bloody and shakingly crying. That alerts me and Blake, what she says next blew me away "He took her and is going to kill her, help please!" Marie collapsed after that....
