Alpha Conri and Cailean made their way to the city through the thick, fallen trees of the forest and there seemed to be numerous camping grounds that they encountered with no men nor women, even children, in them. It all just smelled like burnt wood and the burnt flesh of animals that they have decided to put their hands on and decided that they are edible to satisfy their hunger.
Cailean, who grew up with the plants inside the forest and was like friends with most of the animals inside it, looked behind and saw the destruction that the fire caused to it years ago. She felt her heart has been tugging while letting her eyes scan around the once tall trees, almost reaching the sky, which is now nothing but a piece of the log being home to the surviving animals of the previous years.
"Fuck." She whispered, getting disappointed by herself. If she only was a little faster and escaped Neverland earlier, the forest that she is trying to protect could have been saved.
