They already checked in a few hours ago at the hotel lying in between an alley, where the bussing of the city could be heard outside. The room is filled with an old and slightly unpleasant scent.
Both of them, without speaking, closed the windows and covered them with curtains, thinking that someone might know who they are.
After a few minutes of quick fixing and redecorating their room, both of them sat down in a relatively comfortable bed with the sheet having a neutral scent on their nose.
"I still don't understand." The Alpha said to her, approaching her with his hands on his waist, clearly still feeling tense and annoyed by what he saw earlier around his territory, "We should have gotten to the castle already, fighting the guards and locating Adolphus, in this case, he is the king."
"What good will that bring to you?" Cailean asked him, trying to reason with him. Her stress built up some more due to the Alpha's actions from earlier.
