After finishing that dance-filled task, I looked to the ground, feeling embarrassed and not wanting to see what the demons thought of my dancing. "With that, my explanation has come to a close. But to sum it up for you...You will be an exchange student here at RAD for one year, and you must do your tasks. Your tasks mainly of dance battles, and as you have no magic power, we will lend you a hand. If you want to use our power, you will have to use special cards. You can summon those cards through the app called Nightmare. And when your exchange period comes to an end, you are to submit a paper about your stay here in the Devildom. It's as easy as pie, don't you think?" I nodded my head, thinking of things that probably make me do that were extremely difficult for me to do.
"I wanna make one thing clear right now: Don't blame me if someone gets eaten, 'cause it ain't my fault." I ignored Mammon, thinking that if I die because of him, I will come back as a ghost and haunt him for eternity. "Lucifer, I'm hungry." Beelzebub was pulling on Lucifer's sleeve, sulking while holding his stomach as the growling grew even louder. "That's too bad. Now, behave yourself." Lucifer brushed off Beelzebub's hand and frowned at him. Beelzebub went silent, upset that he got scolded by his brother again.
Knowing fully well that this is not a dream, and I won't be going home anytime soon, I thought that I should enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I should make the most of it. "Let's make it a year to remember!" I try to show my best smile as I said this. "You...sure are a positive one. Welp, I won't stop ya from havin' some fun." I looked to Mammon, thinking he may not be all bad and that we could be friends.
"Daisy, from now on you will be living in the House of Lamentation. You'll be staying there with Lucifer and his six younger brothers. Humans, angels, demons, I imagine a universe where each accepts the other. Where we are brought together as friends. This is my dream, and I'm asking you to be the foundation for it. One year, that's what I ask of you. Good luck, Daisy." With that, Diavolo left the assembly hall with Lucifer close behind, who gave me a polite smile.
The rest of Lucifer's brothers started to leave as well, leaving me and Mammon alone together. It was silent for a moment until Mammon let out a groan and started walking out of the assembly hall. Being my guide, I quickly followed him, not wanting to be left alone in an unfamiliar place that could have many demons that want to kill me or take my soul hiding in the shadows.
