Chapter 26 - Chapter 26 - Assault On The Pencildragon Household

"Valier, I need to put you and Iris to bed, so get up. It's pretty late, kids your age should be getting anywhere from 8 to 10 hours of sleep, if you go to sleep this late then you won't be getting enough sleep. And you're all sweaty, so go take a shower, I'll put Iris to bed while you wash up, alright?."

I nodded my head at her words, Iris waved at me before heading up stairs while Irene just left, she seemed to be rather tired today.

A/N: Didn't post much because I was fasting for Ramadan, and I'm not gonna apologise for it tbh since i did everyone a favour by not giving yall chs that are horribly written and they wouldve been pretty short. But I'll tell you that I'm back at least for now. And today, we'll just get to the part that I've wanted to write for weeks now.

I headed upstairs and got changed into my pijamas after I had a quick shower, they were plain black PJs. I was a minimalist, I was more comfortable in plain clothing than in fancy attire. But it should be noted that I despise plain white clothing. It's just inconvenient.

I got into bed and got ready to sleep, I lay there, not moving a muscle and just as I was about to drift off to sleep... I heard footsteps, my body tensed up, someone was using Mana, I decided not to move or to circulate Mana throughout my own body.

Before I could even blink, the door was opened, a gust of wind flew into my room and standing at the door frame was a monster. I couldn't make out it's facial features, as all I saw was this blonde mane of hair. When I blinked a few times, I noticed that it was just Irene standing in an awkward position.

"Sorry- Haahh, for being- late."

Irene's voice was ragged, what the fuck could possibly have been so tiring that she ended up like this. She walked over to my bed and sat on the edge, I hadn't noticed before but there was a book in her hand. It seemed to be a novel.

"I... went to the library to find a book that I thought you'd like, I can tell that you're not like most kids. So, I wanted to get you a book that would be more appropriate for the type of person you are."

I calmly gazed at the book, I scooted over to the side and Irene sat down. She started reading the book out to me. I wasn't listening, I was a bit annoyed, I wanted to experience a regular childhood and being read a novel at this age kind of took away from the experience.

Irene POV:

As Valier fell asleep I ran my hand through his snow white hair, he had a rather effeminate face. He'd probably be popular in the future, well he'd be popular if it weren't for those eyes. It's as if he's not a living being, as if he's not even alive. As his older sister, I can look past them, but I'm not sure if others can.

I sighed and looked at him once more.

"I wish this little period of peace would last forever."

Nearby the Pendragon Residence there was a man, the man was wearing a white cloak that had gold embroidered into it. His face was hidden by a hood. There were some blood stains on the man's hands, there were many bodies scattered around the man. The bodies' belonged to none other than the soldier's of the Pendragon Family.

The man's clothing was in a pristine condition, there wasn't so much as a crease on his clothing. The man had been able to single handedly annihilate a platoon of Knight's without even using a weapon. The man's presence was also concealed and his presence concealment was at an extremely high level, meaning none could even feel his existence.

"Now then, I think it's time for me to hunt down the hatchling dragons."

Valier POV:

My eyes widened as I heard the entire estate start to crumble, without wasting a nanosecond I enhanced my body with Mana and I threw myself at the window and I tried my best to land but I landed a few meters away from where I had intended to land. Looking around, all I saw was destruction. In the mere instant it had taken me to get out of the building, the entire place had been completely annihilated. It was clear that had I moved even a moment later, I would've died.

It was then that I felt a pressure, it was as if my very soul would be snuffed out from existence of I dared to approach it. It was as if I was an ant, as if my life meant nothing before the immense power I was facing.

It was then that I saw two presences moving towards me at terrifying speeds. I could hear sonic booms being created as the two presences closed in on me. Then, two craters had formed on either side of me. I saw Iris and Irene on either one of the craters. Before I could even finish checking their conditions, I felt the huge magical presence that I had felt earlier right next to me.

My body froze, not in fear, it was more like I couldn't move. My body had gone into shock from being beside whatever the fuck was beside me. Before I could even finish turning my head I felt a fist land at my liver. The blow wasn't enhanced too much by Mana but it still packed a punch.

"I've found the third little lizard."

As I collapsed onto the ground, I looked up to see a handsome man with long blonde hair and green eyes look down at me. I attempted to get away but before my brain had even sent out the message to put my body into action, I felt the pressure around increase many fold. I looked up and saw that it was raining even though it wasn't even cloudy a moment ago.

He was changing the weather with his mere existence.

"Who told you that you were allowed to run?"

As soon as I heard that, I felt a kick land on my head and the kick sent my right into the ground. The ground below me cracked as blood dripped down from my head, the wind was knocked out of me as I felt a kick land on my stomach.

I started coughing violently as I felt some my ribs shatter. An ordinary mage would heal themselves, but I couldn't.

"You're way too weak, are you sure you're really a Pencildragon?"

The man's voice was filled with boredom and disappointment.

The man placed his hand on his Dimensional Ring, an item that was used to store things. I assumed that he was going to pull out a weapon.

But he pulled out a pencil, it wasn't until he had the pencil just above my neck that I realised what he was going to do.

He was going to kill me.
