As dawn slowly turned into night, Meldrum saw the silhouette appear at the cornfield again, but this time, it was brighter than before. Although Meldrum thought it was just his head playing tricks on him again, he believed he couldn't be too cautious as he was living by himself. "Hey, don't move" Meldrum called out to the silhouette. However, like before, the silhouette faded as quickly as it had appeared. Meldrum once again ran towards the cornfield, but once again, he found nothing. No traces of footsteps and no traces of trampled crops. Meldrum walked back to his barn house chuckling to himself saying, "Man, I'm really at that age already huh." As he had walked away, the silhouette appeared again, but this time, it was unknown to Meldrum.
