As day had finally turned into night, Meldrum relaxed himself and sat on the rocking chair he had on his porch. As he was sitting, he looked up at the starry night sky, shining with grace and there it was, a full moon. It shone down on Meldrum's farm, as if his farm was being blessed. He sat watching this beauty for minutes on end and he decided it was finally time to prepare some dinner. As he he headed inside, he saw the silhouette again, now brighter than ever but still almost entirely transparent. Meldrum now had gotten used to the tricks his mind had played on him and walked towards the silhouette. As soon as he was 3 feet apart from the silhouette, it shrieked. Its eyes started bulging from it's face and its mouth gaped open to an inhuman size, showing the abyss inside of it. In an instant, Meldrum reacted and ran, and the light started flowing uncontrollably from the barn and it leaked throughout the entire farm. Meldrum quickened his pace and charged through the cornfield and into the apple trees. As the light creeped closer at an alarming rate, Meldrum hid in the acres of apple trees, waiting for the light to pass.
