Katrina's eyes fluttered open as the water was poured on her head jerking her from her sleep. "Open your eyes Peasant!" Christain's voice boomed as he walked out of the mansion accompanied by his Beta, Stefan.
She gasped and fluttered her eyes open. The bright rays of the sun shone on her face and to protect her eyes from the sun, she used her hand as a shield. "I see you are awake!" Christian Sneered as he stood in front of Katrina.
"Your highness," Katrina's mouth trembled as she bowed her head.
"I see you are still alive," he beckoned for his guards to raise Katrina's head. "Seeing the way you survived the wolfsbane, you must be a tough omega."
Katrina stared into the King's piercing purple eyes that glow like a bright light. They both stared at each other for a few seconds until Christian looked away. "Your majesty," Katrina said. "You promised me a job if I survived the night and I did..." She smiled.
