"Your parents' deaths were all your fault," Darren's words echoed in his mind. his fault? Rozelin felt her heart stop beating, and the silence in the room grew thick and deafening. There was no one else in the room at that moment but them; Rozel's attention was focused only on the grin on her face and the evil glint behind her eyes.
"You're the reason they're dead… You just stood there.." He whispered maliciously, sending a chill down his spine.
An image flashed before his eyes, blood. There's a lot of blood! He went as he came and could not understand the rest of what he saw.
Damon snatched Darren by the neck with one hand and knocked him down, before covering his mouth with his hand, his lips parted in shock, "Do you want to stay in this pack?" Damon roared, "You're lucky to be alive right now!" He clenched his neck as his claws grew and pierced his skin. Blood oozed from the wounds and began to run down his neck and onto the ground.
Rozelin watched in shock as Darren's face slowly turned red, and tried to raise Damo's hand. Damon pushed Darren back to the ground before pulling his hand away, leaving Darren gasping and stammering on the floor. His wounds were not fatal and would heal.
Unlike the rest of the pack, only people standing nearby, like Damon and the pack leaders, heard Darren's words. The pack members looked in shock, but at the same time, they didn't care. At one of these events there was always some kind of fight.
No matter how much they dressed, he could not hide the wild beast in the clothes. The only time they stayed on their best behavior was when another flock was visiting or one of the many royal balls and celebrations.
Rozelin looked at the other members of the pack with wide eyes. His thoughts were spinning with what Darren had said. his fault? How did she know such things? At the touch of Rozel's huge hand on someone's shoulder, she jumped and spun around. She stepped away from Damon, her eyes filling with fear.
"Rozelin" She kept her voice soft as her hand reached out to her.
He looked at his bloody hand.
There was a lot of blood.
She felt sick, her throat tightened, Malia whimpered in her mind, causing rosé's eyes to sparkle, and the wolf took the reins and fidgeted, almost stepping forward. But rosélin restrained herself and forced her wolf to stay where she was; He knew how Malia was feeling from what Darren had said, but now wasn't the time or place to completely lose control. Rosalin turned around and dashed towards the exit.
She swung the door wide open, took her heels off her feet, and started running. His heart pounded in his chest; adrenaline ran through him.
"Rozelin, baby, come back!" Damo's voice filled his mind; He could hear the pain in her voice.
Why was he injured? He kept her out of mind connection; He knew it was wrong, but he needed some time off and some air from what had just happened. Even though the bond between them forced her heart to go to him, she could not go.
She was abducted only a month ago and learned about this other side of the world kept secret. The death of her parents, which was reported to be an animal attack, was actually a murder, but there was no justice to be found through the human system. Now she listened to words no one should hear. Even if they were funny, that didn't mean it didn't hurt.
Rozelin could hear Lydia's words even as she was walking away from the building.
"He's not the leader!"
"Lydia, you'll lose your tongue permanently if you keep talking!" Rozelin heard Damo's snarl make the ground tremble, even from the ground she was pounding on her feet.
Rozelin grimaced, then looked at the others; She felt her heart beating in her ears, or was it her brain? She couldn't say she; He was whining and staring at the mansion in front of him before the sparks of blood on his tiny boyish hands twisted into his mind.
Choking on the air Rozel was breathing, she slowed her pace. Tears rolled down her face and she felt red, too hot for the clothes she was wearing. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her beating heart and her wolf. But they were short of breath. Was he having a panic attack?
Her body began to tremble as she bent down. Malia was scratching her mind desperately for an escape, a redemption. She wanted to run to the mountains and keep running until the mountains fell. The skin on his spine began to stretch and tear as tufts of white fur began to stick out from his back.
She took a deep breath and felt the tight knot of power rising from her stomach. Rozelin knew she could no longer control Malia. Not unless you use your power over him; She felt very bad about the decision, but it was the right thing to do, she. The two of them were out of their minds, and it wouldn't do them any good to encounter bandits or worse in the mountains.
Sensing where Rozel's thoughts were going, Malia stopped reaching for the reins. Rozelin took a sigh of relief and closed her eyes. She focused on her wolf, she now only on the white wolf pacing in the corners of her mind. Together they slowed their breathing, their heartbeat, and only the breeze blew through the trees.
they listened.
"Rozelin wait!"
His eyes suddenly opened and he turned around to see Alex running towards him, holding his black sneakers by his side.
"Looks like you dropped your trainers, Cinderella," Alex winked and handed her. Her smile faded when she saw the expression on her face. Rozelin put on her sneakers as Alex continued to stare at her.
"You want to get out of here for a while?" He asked; Rozelin looked at him and shook her head. The words had disappeared from her mouth while her mind was still on what was going on.
Did Darren make it up? Or was he just trying to weaken her? If so, it worked. A word about his family and he stumbled upon it. Damon wouldn't have attacked him so aggressively if he had made it up. Does Damon know anything? Or was he just pissed off because of someone saying such a miserable thing to his wife?
Too much... blood was on their hands.
The image was very vivid; it had to be real.
He unconsciously raised his hands and looked at them. They were clean, but there was blood on them.
"Hey."
Roselline's eyes landed on a pair of emerald-green orbs in front of her. She winced when she saw her hands gently placed on her shoulders as she looked at him worriedly.
"I think it'll do you good, sweet peas." Alex shrugged his shoulders reassuringly.
"If you're thinking of running away, I'm coming too!"
The couple turned when they saw Frank running towards them. Rozelin nodded and slipped out of Alex's grasp. They continued walking silently inside the mansion; Frank and Ajax exchanged glances as they walked downhill to the garage. Rozelin opened the side door of the garage and stopped, causing the men to stand behind her.
His chaotic thoughts completely disappeared as his eyes lit up as soon as a cafe racer saw him sitting in front of his motorcycle.
"Who owns the Wonda cb750 cafe racer motorcycle!?" Rozelin screeched as she approached the shiny, jet-black motorcycle; He wanted to stroke it but didn't want to leave fingerprints on such a polished bike.
"One what?" Alex asked; When he turned around, he saw both men staring at him in surprise.
Rozelin sighed, "You're not the only one dating, you know. My ex used to make motorcycles. So, you know, I got some of his knowledge. But right here this bad boy is nice!" cried Rozelin, her whole demeanor turned to excitement. The men smiled as they saw his serious expression change into a laughing boy in a candy store.
"Do you want to ride it?" Alex raised his eyebrows. Frank sighed and slapped Alex in the chest so hard he stuttered.
"It's a little… hard… Frank," Alex's voice was hoarse as he rubbed the area where Frank had hit him.
"Not hard enough," Frank muttered.
"No. Now get in the SUV. I'll drive," Rozelin dismissed Alex's suggestion, grabbing some keys from the side with the plate on it. He didn't know whether Alex was flirting or really meant to buy the bike. But he knew that unlike many black SUVs, vans, and some flashy sports cars, a man's bike should never be stolen.
It was his pride and joy.
He didn't get out of the garage much as he observed it from the tires.
"I thought I'd let you get away with what happened between you and Darren," Frank said, reaching for the keys.
Rozelin gripped them tighter and brought them out of their reach, "I drive well. Besides, I don't trust either of you to drive."
The two men looked at him blankly.
"How long have you not been driving? Do you know how to drive?" He gave them a sharp look before opening the door and climbing behind the driver's seat.
"I have a drivers license!" "I've done my lessons, I know how to drive," Alex proclaimed as Frank sat in the passenger seat as he sat in the backseat.
"And did you pass your test?" Rozelin asked with a chuckle as she looked at Frank's disgruntled expression in the rearview mirror.
He pressed the button on one of the key fobs to open the garage door and put the car in gear before heading up and down the long road to the doors.
"Oh, we are rebels!" Alex hit his knee and smiled as he looked out the window at the approaching guards.
Rozelin looked at him and burst out laughing, feeling better with the two of them and away from the stress of the burden issues.
"Rebels fleeing in an SUV traveling at 10 miles per hour?" Malia chuckled.
"A stolen SUV…" replied the wolf of the rozelin.
"Damon's is yours!" Malia couldn't help but laugh.
Rozelin stopped the car in front of the doors, lowered her window; She ordered the patrolling guards to open the gates. While waiting, Frank observed the side profile of his rosé.
He was unaware of the fact that Rozel used her powers so naturally. His men would never have let the princess go without orders from Alpha Damon. He didn't yet have the authority and the role to override Damo's orders. Although he was working on it, Frank was worried about the consequences.
After ten minutes of driving, Rozelin parked the car in front of a cafe and was horrified when she saw the closed sign.
hunched over.
Alex smiled, "Girl, the Goddess is smiling at us.. Look." He pointed to a bar down the road.
Roselin shrugged; She didn't want to come back yet, she. Maybe a bar and some normalcy will help clear your mind. Even when he thought that nothing could distract him from the pulling sensation in his stomach. His spousal bond was constantly forcing him to return to the mansion and to Alpha Damona. Despite canceling the incoming mind connections several times, he still had the urge to turn to her and hide in her chest.
But this was the best so far. Malia was content, despite howling from the distance between them and Alpha Damon. Is this how she would feel every time she broke up with him?
While Rozelin was lost in her thoughts again, she was on autopilot as they set off for the bar. Footsteps on the pavement echoed in the quiet street. Evening was still young, yet the town looked like a ghost town; Rozelin did it quite cautiously, so she remained extra vigilant towards her surroundings.
Plus, if anything, not only would Alpha Damon get incredibly angry, so would Chiara and the hours he spent teaching her to be on the alert.
After ordering their drinks and food at the bar, they sat at a table by the window. The bar they were sitting in had that typical bar smell; A cleaning solution to hide the age of old beer and beer mix, polish and alcohol spilled over the years. The music playing was from an old jukebox and added to the charm of a place like this. Other bars, student bars and clubs that Rozelin had ever been to would be; even then, the smell was the same but covered in sweat but unlike this place the decor had a more modern finish.
Still, Rozelin was happy, away from everything that was going on, and it felt good to be in a crowded bar. He sat in silence as people watched; their place was the perfect place to do that. This would only ask regulars, whether it was from the nearly empty streets outside or some regulars asking personal questions to the bartender at the bar.
Rozelin continued to stare out the window and watched as a mother and child holding hands came into view, reaching for a man the mother was kissing; She guessed it was a father or father figure. They were a lovely family.
Rose's heart darkened and the children watched her anxiously. She sighed, she, then looked at Alex and Franka before she took a sip of her soda. She looked down at the table as she sipped her drink, once again lost in her own thoughts.
His parents, the Alpha King, and the Queen were all very affectionate to him and to each other, as he remembered. As a child he would sometimes sit and watch them happily, smile when they laughed, laugh when they laughed, even though he didn't understand why they were laughing. Your little rosé was happy because they were happy.
Even then, he was not aware of his full potential. Or did he think so? Who knew? His memories were missing parts. He wondered if the witch mother had cast a spell on him or if his mind was unable to handle and blocking such painful memories. She wouldn't want to remember such horrific scenes if she had been present at the death of her parents, or if she had been guilty.
His family… who left him a kingdom to escape to…
Lydia's words suddenly came to her mind, "You, the so-called future Luna, have fled a lot of meetings when things got tough."
Even in the setup Lydia and Darren had set up, which she suspected were working together for exactly this script, Lydia was right. A sentence from Darren about his family and he fled the scene. A leader, a Luna, a QUEEN would never do that. She mocked herself.
"What happened at the meeting?" She jumped slightly as Rozelin's thought abruptly stopped. She looked to the side and saw Finn looking worriedly at her.
"You were doing very well. The pack was behind you, they're still standing… but… what did Darren say?" Frank researched; She looked at him, released the straw from her mouth, and sat back in her seat.
"She said something about my family."
Frank and Alex waited patiently as they pieced together Rozel's thoughts and words.
"He said it was my fault that they died."
Rose's head snapped to the side when she heard the sound of breaking glass. Frank held the glass he was drinking from; accidentally broke it. She opened her palm to let the shards, liquid, and blood fall onto the table. Frank wiped them off like crumbs and gestured for his rosé to continue.
"Well," Rozel's eyes averted from Frank's slightly bloody hand. There is a lot of blood. The image was clear as day; The blue dress she was wearing was covered in blood. Rozelin nodded and continued, "Looks like I was there. But I don't remember, or so I thought. Just a few crooked memories came back."
"The first one showed a corpse on the floor in the hallway. The second... I don't really remember. But I had a lot of blood on me," Rozelin looked at her palms as if the warm liquid was still there. his hands.
"This is bullshit," Frank spat. Rozelin looked at him in surprise.
"The death of your parents was not your fault. Whether you were there or not. You were a child, Rozelin." His face hardened and he clenched his fist again.
he made fun of it.
"I know, I guess. what I saw," Rozelin sighed. She was feeling pretty exhausted, and it wasn't just her sparring with Damon.
Alex reached out and rubbed her hand gently on the table, "Whatever happens, me and Frank are here for you."
"Thanks guys. Sorry for all the confusion," she replied, calmly taking her hand from Alex's and softly grasping her straw to figure out why she broke up with him. However, the little movement caused Alex to frown and look at Roseline like a hurt puppy. Rozelin grimaced when she saw his handsome, usually cheerful face staring at her with such pain.
Rozelin said, "I know you mean well, but you should be more careful. I don't want you to lose your hand."
Frank burst into laughter from the shock written all over Alex's face.
"Come on, you know, I'll never make a move on you. First, my charms are too heavy for you and you can't resist me.. Bad for Damon."
Rozelin raised her eyebrow, "Is that so?" she muttered dryly.
"And I don't go after someone who's already taken." As she looked at him earnestly, all the jokes on her face were gone, "I have some morals, you know." A smile broke.
"Oh, and he's back," Malia chuckled.
That's when the food came. While Alex and Frank ordered two hamburger dishes, Rozelin wasn't too hungry and was just nibbling on her own chicken burger. The waiter also cleared the broken glass and looked at Frank suspiciously.
Rozel's phone vibrated again and she saw another message from Hollie. Still, instead of picking it up, she hung her phone face down and glared sullenly at the remaining potatoes on her plate.
"What else do you have?" Frank counseled him as he ate the last piece of his hamburger; His mouth filled like a raccoon stuffing food to his cheeks.
"I miss doing things like that. Calming down without worrying. Last month felt like six months to me. Everything that happened. Everything that I was about to take on."
"Enough," Alex put down her girlish cocktail. Rozelin and Frank jumped in surprise. "Oops, I didn't want it to be so dramatic."
"Is he worried about being too dramatic now?" Frank muttered under his breath, twitching Rose's lips as she suppressed a smile.
"We got you out of there so you could cheer up and have fun. Waiter!" He waved to her, "Darling, what's the fun around here? And is it still on?"
The brunette waitress blushed under Alex's gaze and pointed a few places.
"Excellent! It's an escape room!"

Hailey stood to one side in the crowded hall as Lydia's plan unfolded before her. Lydia was doing exactly what she said, disturbing the peace in front of the herd, making her rosé look weak. Delta waited for Darren to whisper in his ear, his face turning pale no matter what he said; Alpha Damon looked like he had seen a ghost as he suddenly grabbed the Delta wolf by the throat and crashed into the ground.
He couldn't see some of what happened; The pack members were now standing, looking to see what was going on. They loved a good fight; they had a kind of bloodlust in them that they had to fill at least once a month. Swarm meetings were supposed to update the dangers and information they needed, but it was also a good time for someone to screw up another wolf. That wasn't his purpose, but somehow it became a tradition.
Hailey hurried between the two warriors, who grumbled at her rudeness, but ignored them and turned the bird with both hands. He paused and then looked at what had happened. Rozelin rushed out the door. Hailey mocked; what a coward. Seriously, did this magnificent White Wolf mean Princess of the Cross? He couldn't understand the admiration everyone had for him.
At least Lydia could show the pack how she was. But for him to truly realize that he couldn't even lead the Silver Crescent herd, let alone the other packs, they had to keep smashing him in front of the pack. Her lips turned into a malicious smile at the thought of Rozelin dead; It meant he could take his place.
Hailey knew she couldn't replace Lydia as Luna. Who would want that lunatic to lead the pack? Everyone thought the same thing; Even without Rozelin, a Luna was needed to serve alongside Alpha Damo to help lead the packs. A lone Alpha was weaker than one with a mate or chosen Luna.
Luna would be his.
It was easy to befriend Lydia when she returned to the Pack; The girl needed someone and was stupid enough to think she was his slave. On the contrary, he was the puppeteer and played the role of Lydia perfectly. When the time came, he would take the crown himself.
Alpha's heart would break for a while after Rozelin died, but she was smart and needed someone by her side. He would be there to collect the pieces, to console her. She was not going to be easy and it would take some time, but she was a very patient woman.
"Follow him. Stay out of the shadows. He won't be alone for long," Lydia advised.
Delta Darren is on her hands and knees
After Lydia and Alpha Damon's words, ken fled without saying anything else through the now roaring crowd. The doors opened behind her, and she watched Rozel retreat from afar before running sideways. How does he run so fast? He could barely keep the girl in front of his eyes.
As she approached the mansion, she hid behind a bush and watched the handsome shapeshifter give Rozel some trainers. Hailey watched their conversation and nodded before a smile spread across her face. She bit her tongue to keep from laughing. It was really easy. Adam, Jack? Whatever his stupid name was, he didn't really know how possessive Alphas were.
Touching his wife so openly and in his own territory?. He chuckled. Such a waste, the good man would be killed. Hailey sneaked up to the mansion after the other werewolf, who had always followed her like a lost puppy, and they turned the corner of the building. He kept his distance and listened to their conversation - boring shit.
"Lydia, I think.. I think I've found something that might help. I'm not sure. I don't want anyone killed," Hailey counseled, confident that her voice was docile and helpless.
"Haha! Who cares? What?" Lydia replied; She could hear the smile in his voice.
"That shapeshifter... he wrapped his arm around her and dragged her away. They're leaving the mansion with the other werewolf.. What should I do?" She asked hesitantly as she ran and jumped under the closing garage door. Rozelin and her friends were already halfway through in one of the SUVs at the time.
Receiving the keys, Hailey chose one of the vans they used for their surveillance missions. He started the engine and waited until the garage door started to open again.
"Follow them, you imbecile! And report what they told me to Alpha Damon. He won't believe it's from me right now," Lydia's excited voice came back to her mind.
"OK!" Once again he played the fool.
Hailey often wanted to strangle Lydia just for her voice. Soon that bitch won't be able to talk, she.
He followed behind the SUV the princess was driving, making sure there were several cars between them.
"Alpha Damon?" He was confused by a hesitant voice.
A growl came from the mind-connection. Hmm, he looks pissed off.
"I thought I'd let you know. I mean princess Luna. Princess Rozelin, frank and Alax? They,"
"Keep talking." Damo's wild voice came from the mind connection.
A sly smile appeared on his face as he stared at his reflection in the review mirror. Hazel eyes stared at him, behind them an evil gleam shone.
"Excuse me. I caught them walking out of the mansion together. They… I mean, he had his arm around him. So I followed them. He was just a little suspicious.." He stopped and held back a laugh. The joy of the wild growl he received in return.
"WHERE ARE THEY!?" His loud voice made a face.
Hailey parked on the side of the road opposite the SUV parked in front of a cafe. Instead of answering yet, he considered letting her sweat a little more. Let her mind go wild about what her beloved partner might do with another man.
He's very handsome and somewhat notorious for flirting with rosé and a few she-wolves.

Damon paced back and forth across the training ground. As soon as Rozelin left, she wanted to follow him. But his duties as an Alpha meant that he had to stay behind and console his pack. The herd seemed to be in turmoil at the exit of Rozelin and Lydia's words. It wasn't going to be like this tonight. He planned this specifically to officially introduce his friend to the herd.
But as usual, the swarm's cockroaches emerged from the crappy shadows they came from. If people thought being Alpha was easy, there was something else. There were so many rules that he had to obey and obey. He wanted so badly to smash the delta's spineless shit; she could, and the pack couldn't do anything to stop her.
Unfortunately, Darren was a descendant of Delta, and Damon couldn't kill him unless Delta Darren openly challenged him, physically attacked his roselle, or betrayed the pack.
He ran both hands through his messy hair.
"There's another way to deal with this arrogant bastard," Darius snarled. Damon already knew where the wolf's thoughts were going.
Damon sighed, "No one has challenged his family in years."
"But there's an excellent new candidate," Darius replied thoughtfully.
"Franc?" He looked to the side. Except for Delta Darren, there was no one in the hall now except the pack leaders. Damon ordered that he be thrown into the cells. Couldn't kill him
"Absolutely. There's something about him. I've noticed that he's naturally submissive and protective of his rosé," Darius' voice boomed in his mind.
"Most wolves are naturally obedient and protective of Luna and their Queen?" Damon reminded his wolf.
"That's true. But I feel like he's a descendant of a leader. Maybe Delta?" said Darius thoughtfully.
"Is that so?" Damon's lips, Darren
He curled up in a smile at the idea of getting rid of the scum before he got blood on his own hands.
While Damon and his wolf were talking to each other, Damon didn't stop his steps. Despite the controversy about Delta Darren, his mind was still filled with his angelic rozelin. At this moment, her angel was nothing more. A few moments ago, a she-wolf named Hailey said that her friend broke up with Alex because she was so friendly.
He already knew that Rozelin had left the mansion; Even if his men did not inform him of her location, he could tell from the vineyard that she was moving away from him. It was pulling him to go to her. While the strengths of the bond were still not fully in force as it did not mate or mark it, there were still some advantages and a few were already forming.
Maybe the partial scar left on his skin was showing its effect?
"Never mind what Darren and Lydia said. WE are the Alpha. If you want to flag him, you have to. And if you don't, then I'll take my paws. It's been two weeks!" Darius snapped, "No more, Malia won't be able to control herself."
"Not yet."
It roared in Darius' mind, causing him to sigh with excitement. The thing about being the alpha was that the wolf was just as nervous as he was.
An hour later Damon was in the living room. The flat screen TV was smashed to the floor, distorted colors and lines flickering on the cracked screen. He was advancing rapidly, barely keeping Darius under control. Usually, Darius would only take the reins when he was needed, but lately, Rozel's has become more difficult to control since joining the pack.
His steps turned into ruining some furniture in the house. He did not care for such items; they can be replaced in a few hours. Chiara and Kane watched him anxiously, awaiting his instructions.
As soon as this dog hooked him in his mind, he would go straight to his beloved angel. Damon would also discipline this she-wolf who dared not connect their minds for an hour without any updates. He didn't care how small he was. To say that Rozel had left with no protection other than a shapeshifter, she was obviously not very muscular, then there was no keeping quiet.
"They entered an escape room." A female voice came into his mind once again.
About the goddamn time, he had waited too long. He charged through the mansion, his Beta and Gamma following him without a word. He stopped when they entered the garage.
Hailey sent an image via mindlink. Alax and rosélin were sitting at a table in a bar; his hand was on hers. He could not see his face, he could only see the back of his head and the length of his gray hair. Anger consumed him. Darius nearly jumped to the surface, causing his eyes to sparkle, but Damon snapped at him, "He's mine."
He barked for Beta and his Gamma to get in an SUV and follow him. He turned the corner and climbed onto something much faster. Black motorcycle: He climbed with nothing but a leather jacket and the helmet he always left on.
As soon as the garage doors opened, he sprinted through the small gap, and within seconds of reaching the doors, he reasoned with his guards and shouted orders. The roar of his bike echoed through the countryside as he raced through the roads, in and out of traffic. His reaction time was flawless and much faster than the average werewolf. He was in the small town in a matter of minutes, as his speed approached 200mph.
He parked his bike on the side of the road across from one of his SUVs. It's also next to a van that looks like his. But even though he knew Kane and Chiara were moments away, his attention wasn't on the pack members. He placed his helmet on the side, leaned against his bike, folded his arms, and waited.
And he waited.
And waited…
How long are those goddamn escape rooms?
"Open the door," Darius snarled.
Damon nodded, "I'm going to rip someone's head off instead."
"Much more satisfying," Darius grinned.
Finally, her beloved friend walked down the street with Alex by her side. A trembling growl in his chest caused the ground around him to shake. Damon watched as rosé stopped and her gaze locked on his.
Damon heard her curse under his breath.
