Chapter 20 - EP20

When Damon entered the room, Rozelin was wearing her silky nightgown on her bed and showed off her gorgeous naked body that she never hesitated to look at. As soon as his eyes locked on hers, a low growl rose from his chest. He walked up to her, climbed onto the bed and crawled towards her so she lay down on him. She tucked her hips under hers; she put her arms next to her face, keeping her beautiful and comfortable under the covers.

"That wasn't very nice, Rozelin," he grumbled. His face was close to hers now, and he could feel the heat radiating from him. Feeling her lips on her neck, Rozelin sighed, placing small kisses down her collarbone and across her face. He placed a light kiss on her lips before continuing, and repeated the kisses on the other side of her neck. Leaving a trail of tiny fiery sparks behind them.

Rozelin pulled her arms out from under the covers and wrapped them around her neck. Damon pulled back before he grabbed her butt and picked her up from his hold on her alone. She had her legs wrapped around him now, and the covers still left a thin line of protection between their underbelly. Their lips clasped together and their kisses became passionate; The exhaustion they felt instantly flew away. Burned brighter for their mating desires.

A small groan escaped her lips as she felt her tongue explore her mouth, sucking on it, her touch trembling beneath her, causing a small throbbing between her thighs. Rozelin couldn't help holding onto his tense back; Her body warmed up, prepared for him, and encouraged him by gently driving her nails into her muscles. A low growl rose between them and he threw her back on the bed, her eyes gleaming as she tore the silk sheet.

Damo's hand traveled to his thighs, slowly approaching his core; She gasped in anticipation, until her hand stopped at the sound of her phone going off. He cursed under his breath and met her eyes, his own eyes suddenly returning to normal as he looked at her apologetically.

"You can text them later.." He whispered and bit his lip as he pulled back with an exasperated sigh and reached for his phone on the nightstand closest to the door.

"Sorry but no one texts me this late unless there's a problem."

Rozelin watched the screen light of her phone reflect on her face, and her eyes began to read what the message said.

Rozelin began to speak, but then fell silent when she realized that she might not be one of the Silver Crescent Pack.

"That's my dad." He answered and suddenly stood up and put on some boxers before putting the phone to his ear. His back was stiff, and his whole demeanor had changed as he began to pace in front of the bed.

"Hey, what do you mean there was another attack?" Damon started talking to the man on the other side of the phone.

Her mood was ruined and she remembered that with the tension radiating from Damon, Rozelin's phone was out of battery. While casually listening to one side of the conversation, she called him:

"How many now?"

"You think they're working together?"

"Okay okay."

Rozelin plugged in her phone to charge and sat cross-legged on the bed, watching Damon, now leaning against the high bed of the canopy, his hand gripping the wood, his eyes flickering between hers, his face stern and unreadable.

"We were attacked last night.. No, no.. a vampire.. yes, a vampire. Look," she cupped her face and rubbed her tired eyes, "we need to fix a few things. Don't come until this is sorted…"

Damon sighed and looked away from his rosé, "And I have my bag to run to." "I'll be there Saturday," he said. He hung up the phone and threw it on the sofa before returning to Rozelin. Damo's expression darkened without speaking, and he climbed onto the bed, leaned back against the mattress, and raised his arm above his head on the pillow.

Rozelin slid to the side and lay on her side, her face facing him, elbow holding her head high as she evaluated his features. She sighed and looked at him, "More rogue attacks, but my father said there was something different about these attacks. They attacked not his pack, but the packs he commanded. We're arranging a meeting with the other Alphas. Saturday.

"So, when we get up later, I have to talk to the families and arrange a funeral for the deceased on Friday." She continued.

She caressed the side of Rozel's face, the gesture causing her to look at him with admiration, "Then I'll help you. That's two days from now. Tell me what I need to do to help, then we can go on Saturday. Without any problem."

Damon softly took her hand and kissed her back, then put her hands on her chest, Rozelin, thank you for your help. But Saturday, you can't come. Not yet."

Rozelin parted her lips to argue, but continued, "They can only meet you after your coronation."

His mouth closed with a rustle and he grumbled, "Well, that's so stupid.."

"I don't think you'd want to be there anyway. It's going to be a long argument with the arrogant Alpha trying to show how superior they are. You

Unlike me, who is accustomed to disobedience. Be kind to him and see it more as a challenge."

Her lips thinned at Rozel's reply, "Okay, well, I have to get to these things when I'm "officially" Queen." She quoted her fingers, "and before that I'll be working on my social etiquette." She frowned at the amount of work she still had to do.

"Hmm, maybe I should make a schedule for everything I need to learn..."

"I can talk about this with Charles," she said.

Rozelin blinked her eyes; He didn't realize he was speaking loudly. A small smile appeared on his lips and he shook his head.

"Now, come on. We need to sleep. There's a lot to do before I leave." Damon yawned and reached for him, rolling him towards himself so his head rested on his chest. Rozelin reassured herself, brought her leg over hers, and wrapped her arm around him.

Within minutes, Damon felt his breathing deepen and his heartbeat slow. Usually, his regular hit put him to sleep almost instantly, but although his muscles were tired and sleepy, his mind was somehow alert. Even with the lights off and her eyes closed, thirty minutes had passed, and she had just lay there hugging Damon tightly. He sighed and was grateful that he could at least get some rest.

He too had a long night; it wasn't just him. Damon was looking for him as he ran to Gabriel. His forehead wrinkled as his thoughts wandered to Gabriel and then to the secret rooms below the mansion. It was strange to learn that his ancestors had problems like the runaway werewolf from that tomb. Werewolf named Cass.

Rozelin backed away from Damon and rolled on her back, staring at the ceiling, absorbed by the light that hit the dark room. The shadows try and fail to reach and cover the only form of light provided by the waning moon. He was tired, his body longing to sleep, but his mind wanted to review everything he had learned in such a short time.

Malia yawned, "Well, I'm stepping on the sack while you're figuring this out. Because girl, it's not good for you to go to bed so late. We're going to be cranky tomorrow. You'd better have a good breakfast because otherwise I won't be happy. Or let me go hunting tomorrow night. give."

"We'll do both, don't worry. Sleep, you can go hunting tomorrow night."

Satisfied with Rozelin's answer, Malia instantly fell silent and thought that Rozel's wolf had fallen asleep. Hmm, unlike her wolf, she thought now was the best time to review a few things. Because when he wakes up again, it will be another day and most likely a new adventure...

Why are Amelia, Mathias and this Cass locked up? Cass in particular looked like she had been buried alive. His mind was racing fast and trying to grasp something, but it was clear from the sound of birds chirping in the forest, that although his mind was alert, it was also tired. Whatever it was, she gave up trying to put together a puzzle. A mystery that doesn't seem to matter.

This Cass person was dead; While she loves to read her stories, it would be something to explore another time. A time when his vampire friend didn't murder 13 people to protect him. This is a time when bandits are dealt with and hunters are not looking for him. Or so he thought. After all, he was supposed to be someone important.

At one point, Rozelin fell asleep and then woke up with something warm on her cheek. She groaned and she looked slowly under one eye to see Damo smile at her and place a kiss on her lips. Rozelin automatically pouted for him and opened her other eye, looking down at the lighted room and the man.Rozelin sighed; She was quite happy to wake up to that face every morning.

"Time to get up. I let you sleep until noon!"

Rozelin blinked slowly, the sleep in her eyes still trying to dissipate, "Hmm, when did you get up then?" She muttered.

"At 10. I still had other things to do. Come on, I brought you some food."

When the food was mentioned, the rosélin was quickly seated. Her eyes lit up as she saw the tray full of cooked English breakfast, "If I keep eating this much, I'm definitely going to get fat." Despite her complaint, it didn't stop her from messing with her fork.

Damon chuckled, "I don't think you will. But I can always send it back and the chefs can get you some muesli."

Rozel's face fell, "It's not even funny. Don't say that again," she said, threateningly pointing her fork at him. He raised his hands in surrender before placing a kiss on the head.

Rozelin was sitting eating her dinner while Damon was shuffling some papers and making phone calls, and when she was done she picked up her phone. He frowned when he saw five messages and two missed calls from Hollie. Rozelinen would need to call her later, and for now just leave her a short message. He replied without reading Hollie's messages:

[ 12:20 pm Hey, sorry I missed your messages and calls. Let me phone you later. It's been a little busy here. Ly]

He put down his phone and changed clothes. Damon was right; there was so much to do. During the rest of the day, the couple visited the grieving families, comforting them and reviewing the details of the funeral. It had been a long day, but now it was part of her job to make sure her pack members were well looked after. Even if her relatives had betrayed the pack and the new Luna, they didn't need to know.

Toward evening they were tired again, but like Damon joining forces, he had other matters to attend to. Damon said, "I need to see Darren."

Rozel's eyebrows shot up, "Do you want me to go with you?"

She reached out and stroked his face, "No. Not for that. Go join the others for dinner."

Rozelin nodded, but there was uncertainty behind her eyes. She knew Darren was in the basement, but she was glad Damo didn't need him for that. Most likely, she would attack him for causing too much drama the night before.

Damon turned and walked away, leaving Rose to walk towards the living room. She took her phone and Hollicalled e. His friend got it on the first try.

"Girl! where have you been!? We need to meet."

Damon left his rosé and began to head towards the basement. He used these spare minutes to organize his thoughts before he had to deal with the cucumber downstairs. He couldn't find the words to describe the night before.

After demonstrating how much of a warrior she is during training, she went from officially introducing her rosé to the herd, chasing after her, nearly mating, looking for a vampire. A vampire who killed 13 members of the pack because he fell in love with Rozelin or wanted something in return. There was no doubt about it.

Damon didn't know what to think, whether that made Gabriel an ally or an enemy. Rozelin's ally but her enemy. Rozelin was his and no one else's. Except for Frank and Alex, who had made her blood boil in the beginning, no one dared to touch her, as they had done before.

Still, she felt that the bond was getting stronger, and she could feel the rosé's feelings for him growing even more. This seemed to calm the ugly jealous side he didn't have until he saw Darius and his rozel again. Of course, they only felt friendship towards each other as children; To be honest, he initially found it annoying. But after he got Malia, something changed and Malia wanted to hang out with him. Although he discovered that from time to time their parents observed them as if they were waiting for something.

When she grew up, her mother told her how they planned to arrange her and her rosé. If things didn't work out, or if Rozelin wasn't his wife, they would be arranged for an arranged marriage to form a formal union between the royal families.

Damon nodded at how things turned out. He opened the basement door and felt a smile appear on his lips; At least a few good things came out of the night. Rozelin remembered him. He couldn't remember all the things he was happy with. The night his family was murdered was not something Damo wanted him to remember; He didn't want her to haunt him. At least he remembered their friendship. He could now feel that he trusted her with all his heart from this bond.

As she descended the stairs, she found Beta Kane leaning against the counter, arms folded, wearing shorts and a rubber-gloved T-shirt, looking menacingly at Darren. Kane turned his head and smiled, approaching Damon as if they were meeting at a bar. She patted Damon on the back, "Damn it took her time. I had to stare at her ugly face for the last 5 minutes."

Damon chuckled, but his eyes hardened as he looked at Darren, who was sitting on the floor against the wall, his hands hanging on either side of the silver shackles pinned to the wall.

"Well, there are so many better things to look at here."

"I don't like looking at the dirt on my shoes. I don't know which is worse. It's still ugly." Kane continued with her insult.

"Ha. Ha. Got it. I went too far last night. Look, I'm sorry Damon. Will you let me out? I'm sorry, okay?" Darren spoke through clenched teeth. Damon hissed at her words, and Kane struck the bars repeatedly with a silver crowbar. The sound rang in Damon's ears and he grimaced.

"This is Alpha Damon. Or did you lose some brain cells after last night?" Kane snarled, his eyes blazing as he looked contemptuously at Delta.

Stepping forward, Damon narrowed his eyes in a mocking smile; "Why would I leave you now?" said.

Darren's eyes widened before panic settled into his features, "Wait. Alpha, please. You can't be serious? I'm not staying here?! I'm not your prisoner! You can't keep me here!"

"Oh.." Damon frowned; A spark of fun lit his eyes. He was enjoying the wormy writhing of the delta, "You're telling me how to run this place?"

Darren leaned forward, grimacing as the shackles sank deeper into his skin. "No, no, of course not. Please," he shrugged, "I didn't mean to challenge you... But Alpha, you got nothing to hide on me. I'm here. I'm just the people." I was speaking for you."

Damon tilted his head slightly as he let Darren's words come in, "On behalf of people you say…

He watched as Darren's eyes flickered as if he were deep in thought. This caused Damo's anger to surface.

"Even now, he's disrespecting us. If he had really followed us, he would have said the names of these people. Let me take over, you can blame me for his accidental death," muttered Darius, echoing. Damon "Let's see how that turns out first."

Darius sat back in his seat, waiting impatiently to "go on." Damon approached the bars and folded his arms, ready to order Beta to give him the wolfsbane when the basement door opened.

"Is there anyone else who should be here?" Kane is mind-connected Damon.

"Yeah, and it's late," Damon snapped. His anger has already begun to show itself.

Without turning his head to the newcomer, he said slowly, "You're late. This is not a promising start for you.."

"Sorry, Alpha. Rozelin-"

"Enough, just watch," Damon said. Damon had no problem being late as soon as he said the name of the linked Frank Rozel.

"Say Darren,"

It was true; He couldn't keep Darren there for long. There will be more trouble than his family.

it was a headache. Previous delta: Darre's dad was nice, a little arrogant, but there was nothing Damo couldn't stand. Whereas Darren was a smug bastard who should have taken his place. He acted as if the world owed him everything and everyone else was inferior to him.

Darren finally agreed and listed a few names. Damon glanced at Kane, who was typing the names of the thirteen people who had died the previous evening on his phone; After her last name was said, she nodded, "And Hailey Bassil.."

The name made Damonur throw her head back and look at Darren, "Hailey?" Delta nodded, "Lydia's friend Hailey?"

Darren paused and swallowed, "Yes."

Damon grit his teeth; She should have known that bitch she didn't remember was part of thirteen. To make Rozelin and Damo's night more eventful, by showing her pictures of Rozelin and Alex on a date, Frank was actually sitting next to them. The image was clear in his mind, his body burning with anger again,

He pinched the bridge of his nose with his fingers and closed his eyes, calming himself. It was a misunderstanding and Rozelin was hers. Rozelin was his friend and not jealous.

"Is this going to be your obsession from now on?" Darius grinned.

"You don't have to be jealous, do you?" Damon asked, trying to convince himself.

"The jealousy will go away when it's marked," Darius replied in an often repeated comment to Damon.

Apparently, Gabriel's intel was correct, but he got it. Still, Lydia survived and Darren was left untouched. Although Darren is the most elusive and protected person to reach, the vampire's time may be over.

"As much as I hate bloodsuckers.. This could help us with the cockroach," Darius mocked.

"If it's not coming from your rosé.. I don't think you got a request," Damon joked, "but we still couldn't. It just makes our herd look weak and we're not."

While Damon and Darius were chatting, Kane walked forward and continued their questioning, "You know, he survived the attack last night."

Darren looked at him, "Wh-what attack?"

Kane scratched the back of his head, "Damn, sorry man. I forgot the news didn't get around here." His voice dripped sarcastically before continuing, "Last night, a vampire attacked the pack, killing thirteen people, leaving one survivor."

"Fuck! How is he? Damn, I have to get out of here and see him. Please Alpha, I can't stay here while he's here..

Damon and Kane looked at each other as Frank tied them together, "Looks like they're dating."

"Well, who can blame him. He's an ugly bastard and he's beautiful. He's an ugly bastard on the inside, but he's beautiful. I wouldn't dare open his legs for him." Kane continued in mind connection.

"Lydia is manipulative.." Damon replied.

"Lydia is fine. She's in the hospital getting a blood transfusion. The leech that did it drank from her. She didn't have to survive," Kane said aloud to Darren.

The men watched as Darrene's eyes filled with tears.

All right, dammit. He has a heart. A heart for a cold-hearted bitch.

Damon turned his back on Delta and looked at the briefcase left on the counter. With Kane, he had previously planned to use wolfsbane on Darren as punishment. The slightest sense of guilt appeared in him as he tortured her when she was emotional.

But he planned to do it anyway, he reminded himself, it caused the mental breakdown of the shitstorm and rosé Darren had stirred up the previous evening.

"Frank, get your wolfsbane ready. I want you to inject them all," Damon commanded via mind connection.

Frankn looked at him in surprise, "Now?"

"Do you have a better time?" Damon knew why he was asking, but rules were rules.

Lydia wasn't dead, and it's now confirmed that the thirteen are teaming up with Darren and Lydia to do something against Rozelin. There wasn't enough evidence to convict them, and it didn't look good for Damon or Rozelin to have a vampire do their dirty work.

Frank nodded and turned away with pursed lips and took a syringe from his briefcase. Damon hooked her up again, "This is for your rosé. I don't need to remind you why we're here. He may have sniffed right now, but he's here for a reason. And he confirmed what happened. That note."

Damo's words seemed to comfort Frank as he watched his face harden before approaching the cell doors.

It would be a long night.

Unlike the shotgun sound that drowned in the mansion's underground chambers, the man's scream echoed through the building, causing everyone nearby to stop what they were doing and look around. A minute later, a mind link from Alpha assured them that everything was fine.

Girl! Where have you been!? We need to meet up. What's wrong with you? I went to your mother's shop, she said you were out of town.

Rozelin pursed her lips as she turned the corner and entered the living room, only to go to the patio door that Charles had changed after seeing Alex and Frank discussing where to go on the map while playing an army game on the PlayBox. Closing the door behind her, she walked a few steps before sitting down on the floor.

"I'm sorry," Rozelin muttered, until she interrupted Hollie and continued babbling about Rozel's disappearance.

There was something wrong with the way his friend spoke. His voice sounded strained. What are you nervous about?

"..Uh, just look at me. You didn't say a word! Rozelin, let's meet. Are you free on the weekend?"

Rozel paused for a second before answering, "Yeah, we can meet on Saturday?"

"Honey! We need to catch up well! Okay, no cancellations! As far as I know, you're hiding your pregnancy... Are you pregnant? Is that why you're avoiding me? .. I'm here for you.. Whatever you need.."

"Holly!" Rozelin laughed a little forcefully, "I'm not pregnant. I was just busy. See you Saturday."

"Promise." She whispered.

Rozelin frowned, allowing the line to be quiet for a moment. All the jokes had left Hollie's voice. Rozelin tried to listen to Hollie's voice in the background, but there was none. He would usually play music or hang around doing something. The girl couldn't sit still and she hated wasting time, getting bored with her even though she normally gossip about her on the phone.

"Rozelin" Hollie's voice lifted her from her distraction.

"Yes, I'm here. Line cut. Are you in bad territory?" She did some research.

"Oh, yes, I think I am," Hollie replied.

"Where are you?"

"Rozelin, I have to go. Will you promise not to cancel?"

"Yes, yes. I promise," said Rozelin reluctantly. Hollie knew that rosé always kept her promises. She found it strange that she only asked him to promise to meet. It wasn't like he had canceled before; If Rozelin was busy or working, then she wouldn't have made plans with him or her other friends in the first place.

"Pink finger promise?"

"Oh my God, Hollie! I'll be there. You're starting to sound paranoid."

"Haha," Hollie chuckled, but the voice was unnatural, "send me the details, okay?"

"Certainly."

"See you on Saturday!"

The phone hung up before Rozelin could answer. She stared at him for a few seconds as alarm bells seemed to be ringing in her head. Something wasn't quite right. Something was wrong with his friend.

"Hollie was acting weird," Malia commented, where Rozel's thoughts went.

Rozelin unlocked her phone and checked the messages from Hollie the previous evening.

[20:20 Hi, it's been a long time. I haven't heard from you. Are you okay? Please message back, I'm worried about you ]

[9:00PM Not cool, Where are you?]

[22:00 Never mind. We should meet though, I have a nice gossip for you ;-) ]

[11:00PM Rozelin this is not funny. I hope nothing terrible happened to him. Please call me. ]

[ 12:00AM Call me. ]

[Today 11:30 AM Are you avoiding me? This hurts so much. Call me if you're still my friend]

Really paranoid.

Rozelin and Hollie had a reciprocal system, meaning they were busy if the other didn't respond for a few days, or even a week or two. So when she initially disappeared, Hollie wasn't the first to text her.

Rozelin stood up and went back to the living room. She squatted down on the sofa and crossed her ankle over her knee, tapped her phone on her, lost thought. The seat next to him lowered when he felt the weight of someone sitting next to him. This saved the rosé from distraction. She looked to the side and saw Frank looking at her and Alex complaining about her leaving the game and eventually dying.

"What's the matter, roselle?" Frank asked. Roselin grimaced; Frank seemed to have asked him this a lot.

He forced a smile, "Why do you think something is wrong?"

"Body language shows you're worried about something." Rozelin looked at the two women entering the room. Gama Chiara and Nairi.

"Hmm, looks like I need to get better at hiding my feelings," Rozelin muttered.

"Aww, no, honey. He's not in the bunker. It's just us. You can count on us." Nairi sat gracefully, crossed her legs, and took a sip of her hot drink as she stared intently at her rosé with her large brown eyes. .

Rozelin leaned back in the sofa, putting her arm behind the sofa as she looked at everyone in the room, "Chiara, are you going with Alfaa Damon on Saturday?"

Chiara nodded, "No, it's just him and Beta Kane. I need to stay here with you. I'll help protect the pack while they're gone."

"Okay," Rozelin looked at Frank, "I'm meeting my friend for a catch-up Saturday. But something is wrong, maybe I'm paranoid.

I'm over it, but I think I'd better drink some. guards."

"Can we wear a suit?"

Rozelin looked at Alex in surprise and raised an eyebrow in question.

"I want to look for parts…" Alex continued.

"How old are you, Alex?" Chiara studied her from head to toe and made a chilling pass through her Rosette.

"26, why?" Alex grinned; He looked like he wanted to say more, but stopped.

"Because you're being dressed like a child who wants to play..." Chiara rolled her eyes, crossing her arms as she leaned against the wall.

"Don't hate a guy who always wants to look good baby."

Chiara took a step forward, "I don't hate you, I hate your childish behavior." He said by pressing on every word.

Alex stifled a smile, connecting Frank's mind, "Here we go, hear it and I'll say it."

"I guess that's the signal for me to leave. Rozelin, you don't have to ask; I'll be there," said Frank, looking at his phone, "Damn, I'm late."

Without another word, Frank rushed out of the room, leaving his rosé to watch the funny scene in front of him. Frank was right; Alex may be going too far this time around, unfortunately for him he wasn't able to watch the show.
