As we were walking around town looking for the main character Elise nervously stuttered out a question.
"Is...is what you said back at the willowers den true?"
I stopped walking and replied confused.
"Is what true?"
Elise spoke again.
"Do you really have a thing for...red heads?"
Silence resounded then I started laughing taking both Heran and Elise by suprise I replied to her question stifling my laughter.
"No not in particular I don't really care about hair colour or eye colour I'm more concerned with how attractive a person is in general though I guess some people might see it that way considering who I'm with right now"
Elise looked confused but then looked at Heran then touched her own hair then had a face of realisation a young man with two red headed girls would look weird to any outsiders.
We continued on our way from tavern to bar and even underground brothels which were more like an open secret infact there were even city guards in the illegal establishments.
But finally we found him in a 'hostess' style venue he was currently being poured a drink by a very scantily dressed brown haired woman Heran was just looking at him so I whispered in her ear.
"How about you go show him some sisterly love? and maybe a lesson on where and how to spend his money this place ain't cheap and he doesn't make a lot"
Heran smiled deviously before coughing and changing her expression into a deep frown and started walking towards him.
The main character Edward he had reddish Brown hair and hazel eyes with gold flecks he is deceptively scrawny appearing to have very little muscle mass while still being as strong as an infantry soldier is expected to be.
His skin tone is tanned from being in the sun all day almost everyday and his hair is cut short his happy smile broke as soon as his sister started yelling.
"EDWARD! how DARE you waste your money on such frivolous nonsense?! I search for you all day and night and find you being served drinks from a common hostess?! GAHH"
He looked like he had seen a ghost but Heran wasn't done yet infact she even started sobbing.
"Sob~ hic~ eight years Edward! and I find you in such a deplorable place wasting hard earned money and in the presence of the man who freed me from slavery!"
Edward started crying and begging for forgiveness on his knees.
"I'm so sorry Heran! please forgive me! I thought I had lost you forever I can't lose you again over a shot of alcohol in a club!"
He looked at me and spoke.
"You freed her from slavery?"
I was caught off guard but gave an answer.
"I am second prince Zeth of Serothor and technically I brought her but I have no use for a slave and I just couldn't let a pretty lady like Heran be a common slave she would make a good warrior if trained though"
He drew his sword and spoke.
"you want to make my sister fight on a battlefield?!"
I replied calmly
"No I was just stating that your sister is more than a common slave and that she has potential as a warrior also though I would like to remind you I am royalty I think your sister is about to do that"
He looked confused for a second then turned around to see his sister no longer crying but frowning her eyebrows almost covering her eyes she punched him to the other side of the room and she spoke.
"Have you no brain?! you dare draw your sword at a prince and my saviour at that?! I see our good for nothing mother taught you no manners and that I will have to do that myself!"
The next few minutes were filled with muffled screams but by the end everything was calm and it was time to say goodbye.
I started speaking to the siblings.
"Well it is time for me to go if you ever need me just travel to Serothor and ask for me or alternatively ask for Elise I'll be sure to inform the soldiers and guards of your name.
They both bowed this time it seems that you really can beat manners into people oh I forgot something.
"Oh and Heran? I wasn't joking about that warrior thing you would make a talented fighter in any army I would welcome you to mine if you ever want to join"
Heran seemed surprised but didn't say anything so we left the siblings to rekindle their bond and we left.
With that Elise and I left then returned to the imperial palace I said goodnight to Elise and went to my bedroom.
I have a whole week left in the city with very little to do I guess I could try to get serothor some assets by socializing with nobles but most aristocrats here wouldn't be of any help at least not until the road is built.
I could practice my magic or weapon fighting especially since I have the entirety of the imperial army to request a spar from.
Maybe I could just do something I haven't done for a very long time something I have never thought to do since I came to this world.
Maybe I could just relax for a few days?
