In the room, Hanin saw Hasta lying down with his eyes closed.
"Mr. Hasta." Hanin called out with a muffled cry seeing Hasta's skinny condition with a pale face and thin cheeks.
"Mr. Hasta, wake up sir.. it's me Hanin, I'm here, sir." Hanin said with tears that she couldn't hold back anymore.
When he heard Hanin's faint voice, Hasta slowly opened his eyes and saw Hanin sitting beside him crying.
"Hanin? are you here?" asked Hasta with an incredulous heart seeing Hanin who was already in front of him.
"It's true Mr. Hasta, I'm here." Hanin replied while wiping her tears that were still flowing.
"Hanin, aren't you in the village? why are you here? Who are you here with Nin?" asked Hasta who still couldn't believe Hanin's existence.
"I came here alone, sir, by taking a taxi." Hanin replied with a sense of relief seeing Hasta who looked fine.
"Did Rahmat tell you to come here Nin?" asked Hasta who was a little disappointed if Hanin came because of Rahmat's request.
Hanin was silent for a moment with Hasta's question.
"Uncle Rahmat only told me that Mr. Hasta was in the hospital, and I came here because I wanted to see Mr. Hasta's condition, I really miss, sir." Hanin answered in a low voice.
"Who do you miss? do you miss Rahmat?" asked Hasta who didn't want to hope that Hanin had missed him.
"No sir, I still often talk to Uncle Rahmat. Only with Mr. Hasta I never talk, I miss you Mr. Hasta." Hanin answered honestly.
Hasta's heart skipped a beat when he heard Hanin had missed him.
"Why did Mr. Hasta never call me? Is Mr. Hasta angry with me?" asked Hanin in her eyes that were widening again.
Hasta was silent, unable to answer or give any reason to Hanin's question.
"Mr. Hasta, why sir? did i hurt your heart? Or have I disappointed you? tell me sir, I will fix it." Hanin said with tears in her eyes.
Hasta's heart also cried seeing Hanin who was tormented by his attitude.
"Why are you crying Nin? Of course, because I have a lot of work, so I don't have time for you at the beginning of this week." Hasta said giving a strong enough reason for Hanin to accept.
"Really sir? just because of that? isn't it because of something else?" asked Hanin, looking at Hasta's pale face.
"There's no Hanin, because I'm just busy at the beginning of this week." Hasta replied again convincing Hanin to believe his reasoning.
"Then why does Mr. Hasta get sick? what are you sick of? see now sir, your body becomes thin and your cheeks look thin. Don't you ever eat regularly?" Hanin asked while looking at Hasta's face.
Hasta's eyes closed when he felt the softness of Hanin's soft hand caressing his face.
"I'm just tired Nin, and indeed I forgot the time to eat regularly, I promise in the future I will eat on time." Hasta said with a guilty look for lying to Hanin.
"Mr. Hasta will not continue this work right?" asked Hanin with a look full of hope.
"I have to keep working, Nin," answered Hasta who didn't want to be in more torment if he returned with Hanin and he would see Hanin being so intimate with Rafka.
"Mr. Hasta, I beg you to go home, sir.. Don't you usually go out of town so far? don't even want to come back with me." Hanin said sadly.
"Looks like I can't go back to the village anymore Nin." Hasta said with a feeling of pain and sadness.
"Why sir? Didn't you promise to take care of me forever?" Hanin asked in between her sobs.
"I will always take care of you from here Hanin, will still meet all your needs. So you don't have to worry about anything anymore." Hasta said trying to be calmer even though his heart couldn't be away from Hanin.
"I'm not worried about anything sir, I just want you by my side." Hanin said with her crying voice.
"Don't cry Hanin, later you will get used to it without me by your side." Hasta said looking full at Hanin's face.
Without replying to Hasta's words, Hanin ran out leaving Hasta who could only stare with his heart hurt.
"I'm sorry Nin, I can no longer hold back my jealousy when I see you laughing sweetly with Rafka, I'm also doing this for your sake so that I can be with Rafka without me standing in your way, especially with my illness which will surely trouble you later." Hasta said in his heart with more hurt feelings than Hanin.
"Mr Hasta, what's wrong? why did Hanin come out crying?" asked Rahmat who had just come from the cafeteria with a face that did not understand what had just happened.
"Rahmat, please follow Hanin, don't let her do anything wrong, give Hanin an understanding that I won't be going back home," said Hasta, which made Rahmat very surprised.
"What do you mean Mr. Hasta by not returning home?" Rahmat asked seriously.
"I don't want to be hurt anymore Rahmat, I have to be able to forget Hanin. Especially with my illness, maybe my life won't last long." said Hasta while holding his chest tight due to holding his cough too often.
"I don't understand your way of thinking Mr. Hasta, even though it's very clear that Hanin loves you very much. All the way from the village just want to see how you are, and for you to know that Hanin is also sick." said Rahmat sadly as if sharing Hanin's sadness.
"Please find Hanin, after that take Hanin home." said Hasta who didn't want his heart to melt when he met Hanin again.
"Alright Mr. Hasta, but whether or not Hanin wants to go home.. it all depends on Hanin because Hanin is an adult," said Rahmat then left Hasta and looked for Hanin's whereabouts.
With a slightly disappointed heart because of Hasta's attitude, Rahmat keeps looking for Hanin's whereabouts. Rahmat's steps stopped when he saw Hanin crying sitting on the long chair.
