The gunshots were driving Maria crazy, she had no idea when she started to scream as Lorenzo moved in a zig-zag formation making her dizzy. The mansion was still a good five minutes away, they could only hope that the shooter was a lousy one.
"Maria, listen to me!" Lorenzo yelled above her screams of terror and the deafening wind, the gunshots were becoming more and more precise as the car closed in on them, "Get the gun from my side and shoot!" he ordered as he reared the engine, the bike moving at an incredible speed, leaving a long dark wheel mark on the paved road.
With a shaky hand, Maria did as she was told and tilted her torso to face their attacker's car. The headlights blinded her making it nearly impossible for her to see their attackers, she was however able to identify their genders by their silhouettes. The shooter was a woman.
