Layla and Henry didn't really speak much through the rest of dinner, and Layla felt a little terrible for it. But Henry tried assuring her over and over that it was perfectly fine.
After dinner, they walked around the city for a bit, with the moonlight shining on their skin, and Layla felt herself start to ease up.
The city was different, but she was starting to get used to it.
Later, they made their way back to the apartment, and Layla collapsed on Henry's bed, just barely managing to strip out of her clothing. She felt the bed dip as Henry joined her, but she was already close to falling asleep.
She felt him wrap his arms around her, and then, yeah ... she couldn't remember anything after that ...

"I just have one meeting today," Henry told her, getting his things together for a shower the next morning. "You're more than welcome to join me, and I thought we could go for lunch afterward"
