Layla had just left the apartment to do a quick milk run at the store not even half a block away, when she spotted him. He wasn't even being subtle about it any longer and it was really starting to infuriate her. He didn't approach her though, simply watched her from where he was.
Layla kept calm and just pretended to ignore him, but inside she was fuming. She paid for the milk and made her way back to the apartment, thankful that Henry had left earlier already, saying that he had an early meeting, but promising to be back in time for lunch.
She wasn't sure how much longer she could control her anger for. But as soon as she got to the apartment, she found that she had actually calmed down. She made herself a breakfast, and began to think.
