Arden never cared about how other people felt about him. How they think about him and his behavior, and whether they care about him or hate him.
But tonight, he was waiting for Runa to tell him her feelings.
When Roderick told him to hunt down demons in an area quite far from where Runa was, Arden felt restless. He couldn't think of anything other than Runa and wondered what answer the girl would give him.
This is ridiculous. He knows. A Tsarqi never lived a life like this.
Falling in love and being in a relationship is dangerous. It was tantamount to putting one's life at stake because demons could target them as a weak point.
Even so, Roderick never once spoke of the power of these feelings, which weakened Arden and made him unable to contain himself. If possible, he wants to tie up Runa and take her wherever he goes.
Really. This feeling is terrible, in a pleasant way.
