Ethan's question made Runa think. Of course, there was something that made Anna hate her.
When Runa came out of the archive building, she remembered her cellphone which had fallen in the student report storage room. Runa went back in there and she met the employee.
"What happened?" asked the employee. "I heard the commotion earlier, and I can't go inside."
Runa looked at the employee for a moment. "I don't know either," she said, lying.
"Only you and Jackson have been here today."
Jackson. It must be Ethan.
"I haven't been here long. After finding what I was looking for and taking a picture of it, I just left." That's another lie. Because Runa hadn't even found the report she was looking for.
The employee seemed to consider whether or not he would believe Runa's words. "Then why did you come here again? Forget something?" he asked again. He was still not satisfied.
The cell phone rang after the employee finished asking.
