Lady Weber kept walking forward until she was only one step away from Susan before she stopped. Lady Weber was almost a head taller than Susan, and at such close range, she lowered her head and stared at Susan, making Susan feel doubly stressed.
"What are you doing here?" Above her head came Lady Weber's cold question.
Susan replied with her head bowed, "Lady Bailey told me that the Chief of the Praetorian Guards wanted to see me."
Lady Weber raised her voice in astonishment. "The Chief wants to see you? What for?"
Susan shook her head, "I don't know. Lady Bailey didn't tell me."
Lady Weber was silent for a moment.
