"That would be all for today, class dismissed. Don't forget to meet up and plan your project. I don't want to hear any excuses from any of you for not being able to finish it, I'm giving you two weeks." The teacher speaks in a stern voice as she collects her belongings.
"But if you really can't pass it on time, talk to me and provide a valid reason. Then, I'll decide whether to give you an extension or not. You may go to your next class." The teacher finished and soon after, the school chime went off, signalling it was the end of the period.
Students leave the room after bidding their farewell to the teacher and soon the classroom is almost empty.
"Miss Masami, could you spare me a moment?" The teacher called out to the pink-haired girl who was waiting for her brown-haired friend who was packing her things.
"Yes, of course. What is it?" Ran asked as she walked toward the teacher's table.
"Since you don't have a second period, could you please bring these to the headmaster's office? It's urgent." The redhead handed Ran several files with papers sticking out of each one. Ran only nodded her head and accepted the papers from the teacher's grasp and watched the teacher leave the room.
"It seems you have an errand to do too, let's meet up at the library. I need to drop these files off to Miss Kukai before heading back to my classes." With those words leaving Kyung-Mi's lips, the two friends bid farewell to each other before going separate ways.

"Excuse me." Ran knocked a couple of times at the door and twisted it open when she heard a response.
"Good morning, headmaster. I'm sorry to disturb you, but Miss Al asked me to bring these to you." The pink hair said as she walked toward the headmaster's table, putting the papers on the table.
"Ah, yes, thank you for bringing them to me, Miss Masami." The headmaster thanks with a smile before pushing his glasses up.
"You are very welcome, sir. Now if you'd excuse me, I'll take my leave." Ran says with a small bow before turning around and walking towards the door, she was about to open the door when she heard the headmaster speak, causing her to halt and turn around to face him.
"How're your classes so far?" The headmaster asks, eyes still focused on the paper that Ran gave him.
"They've been fine, sir." Ran answered simply, not wanting to lie to him or say something that might cause something bad to happen. He nodded in acknowledgment as she continued to stand still, her back facing the door.
He then looks up and notices the lack of emotion in her eyes and she also notices the same thing about him, despite having that smile that Ran found quite disturbing, but doesn't exactly know why.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his smile never faltering and hands clasped together on the table.
"What do you mean?" She asked, looking over at him, a bit surprised by his sudden question, causing her brows to furrow a little and her guard to rise.
"No, nothing. You may go." The headmaster flashes her a smile again. Ran didn't say anything and bowed her head before turning around and leaving the office in a hurried yet calm manner, feeling suffocated a little for some reason.
'Now I know why... That smile is the same as his'.'
Ran thought to herself and felt cold sweats drip down her nape.
"And here I am, not wanting to remember that certain memory... How unpleasant." Ran let out a 'tut' before pushing herself off the wooden door, didn't even notice that she was leaning on it, and walked away.
